Saint-Armstrong Posted 21 March, 2012 Posted 21 March, 2012 The Saints Foundation has met the target set by Cortese of £1m, 21 months after its creation: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2687534,00.html Another great thing the club is doing...
Saint_clark Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Worth pointing out that the £1million is in the past year, not as a total since it's creation. Honestly - I thought it wouldn't ever happen, possibly once we got into the Prem. Made up that it's happened already.
SaintBobby Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Amazing. That's a community club. Helping the good folk - not screwing them on a CVA. Truly, morally, there is only one team in Hampshire.
fanimal Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Fantastic effort - my daughter sells tickets in the Kingsland before the games then runs round to her seat in the Northam! Keep supporting by buying a ticket - I have not won yet though.....
FloridaMarlin Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 And the Football League's Community Club of the year is a club that actually STEALS from charities.
This Charming Man Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Amazing. That's a community club. Helping the good folk - not screwing them on a CVA. Truly, morally, there is only one team in Hampshire. And statistically soon. (Aldershot don't count, that would be like counting Sunday League teams in that statement).
Sour Mash Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 And the Football League's Community Club of the year is a club that actually STEALS from charities. Makes it hard to take those sort of awards seriously. Great work by the Saints Foundation, deserves some proper plaudits from the media for what they're doing.
saintmatt Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 And the Football League's Community Club of the year is a club that actually STEALS from charities. I thought Rotherham won Community Club of the Year?
Golden Balls Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Amazing indeed Hope they do that Kenya trip again next year, would be able to make it this time. I would have thought that raised a big bulk of that figure.
