@officialsaints: Biggest Home Support expected

Largest number of home fans for any game @ St Mary's this season is anticipated Saturday http://t.co/MqZQelZG

Can't see there being many P*mpey tickets available after Saturday if this is the case. The people holding Donny tickets will have exceeded the tickets available for the Skates by a couple of thousand.

Thought it would sell out based on what they told me on Monday. Struggled to get 2 seats together anywhere.

None in northam, or kingsland on Monday.

Pretty much sold out when I went in earlier. Ended up in 6, never sat there before. As red and white says tho, the away crowd isnt going to amount to many.

Looks like a gate of around 29,000 hopefully.

Will be more than that. Over 29,000 home fans already have tickets, roughly 600 Doncaster fans and all sales between now and kickoff should see it close to sold out.

I couldn't get any in Chapel either. The online order gave me seats in the Itchen, but not at discounted family rate for adult+child.

So it will be double Portsmouth's average with just the home fans? Oh, sorry, wrong thread...;-)

Just been told by the ticket office that we have sold 99% and expect to sell out by the end of today.

still "plenty" of tickets for the Pompey match available.

Even if they push all the Donny fans up into the corner and gave us all the seats around them - which of course they wont do - it still wouldn't be a total sell-out as all the corporate is included in capacity and there's no way that'll be full tomorrow.

Nice to see the place full again though.

Spotted Mr Lallana driving by The Quays in town in his massive Merc about a hour ago as I was leaving work, then found a fiver on the floor a min later.

I'm sure a good omen.

I think that's Corp Ho's. Best post it to Granty as Ho is waiting to become a full member. That said, many would already consider him one of those.

@adlallana1: Delighted to hear of a bumper crowd at st Mary's tomorrow, big game and looking forward to see ex team mate @S_Gilly18 and his calfs #hench

I feel a worrying sense of complacency from the fans about this game. I am sure Nigel will have the players properly prepared but the crowd can play a part if they start getting restless. Doncaster are a decent side. Much better than their position suggests. On paper this is a home banker but so was Barnsley and we laboured a bit with them. The crowd were subdued. We all need to be on top form to get these points in the bag as early as possible. Some people have started to plan their party already. It's way to soon for that. We are in a striong position but only if we maintain our form.

Doncaster are not much better than their position suggests, i don't think anyone is at this stage of the season, where you are now you are there for a reason.

Doncaster are a decent footballing side, who remember beat us up there, albeit with out Rickie. I am sure if we approach the game the right way,we will win by 2 or 3 goals,if we do not this could be one,if not the biggest shock in the championship this season.

Obviously not paying Billy Sharp too much - his car doesn't have electric windows. Look for the Morris 1000 in the car park.

I think Saints will approach this game very professionally and we have a good squad to select from which will provide the options to run at them. Saints 1-0 Doncaster or Saints 2-0 Doncaster. It could work in our favour as Doncaster have to come out and attack and that just might give Saints the chances to attack. Saints seam to me to be playing better and better and even if we dont play well we get the points, so here`s to 3 hard faught points.

It all points to a good day, and maybe even opening up a bigger gap at the top.

I would prefer to be playing games against teams with nothing to play for, but all our home games are against teams battling for something, 3 at the bottom fighting for their lives, and one who would really love to put the breaks on our promotion push. The other also putting the breaks on and helping themselves at the same time.

Our away games, it will only be Palace and Posh with nothing to play for, and Middlesbough may already have enough for the playoffs by them.

You really can over think these things! Ha ha ha.

Doncaster will be happy with a point, and will try and frustrate us.

Palace are still looking for a late charge into the play-off places. The gap is only 7 points with a game in hand on several teams above them It might be all over for them by the time we play but this is probably as difficult an away game to win as any. And if you think Posh will roll over and make it easy for us, then look what they did to Reading, and not forgetting the grudge Ferguson holds against us. There are no even remotely easy games between now and the end of the season.

Don't be daft, northerners drive Reliant Robins. I know because it was on Top Gear.

Yet another potential banana skin to evade imho. It would be just like us to get two blinding away wins, then slip up at home to a side struggling against relegation. There are no chickens being counted chez scotty.

@adlallana1: Hopefully tomorrow will be better than today. Somehow lost a fiver out of car window by The Quays earlier. #freakgustofwind

Absolutely petrified about the match tomorrow.

Think it's got banana skin written all over it, particularly because alot of Saints fans were cheering on Donny when they played Hoof Ham and Reading...I have a feeling it'll come back and bite us in the arse.

Hope i'm wrong...

What to do?

The Saturday Succulent Breasts seems to have worked for the last two Saturday games. Do I REALLY have to eat fricking Chicken for dinner EVERY game between now and the end of the season? Can I find a recipe for Chicken & Banana in time?

And tactically, after Millwall, can I switch to have dinner ready at KO tme (7pm here) or do I have to leave it in the oven IN CASE I have to go downstairs with 10 mins to go to check on things and earn us a penalty...

Damn, I hate match day superstitions/traditions

Argh hate coconut. "Taking one for the team" don't extend to no Coconut...

Hmmmmm

Now where did I put that Reggae Reggae Salsa I smuggled back from Blighty? that may work.

Trousers old chap - a cunning plan well done. Pictures for the match thread then I guess.

(Oh and of course, it will be served in an Aunt Bessie) (Yes I KNOW but there ain't no way I can cook proper Yorkshires during HT)

I've had this wallpaper on my phone since an hour before the Millwall game and after his heroics in that, I'm afraid to remove it!!

Most importantant game of the season. Ok, I know that might not be fully truth but my point is coming from a couple of hard fought away wins and going in to a supposed easy home game is always tricky and demand character. 3 points to win today. Come on Saints!
