krissyboy31 Posted 23 March, 2012 Share Posted 23 March, 2012 @officialsaints: Biggest Home Support expected Largest number of home fans for any game @ St Mary's this season is anticipated Saturday http://t.co/MqZQelZGCan't see there being many P*mpey tickets available after Saturday if this is the case. The people holding Donny tickets will have exceeded the tickets available for the Skates by a couple of thousand.

Over 29,000 home fans already have tickets, roughly 600 Doncaster fans and all sales between now and kickoff should see it close to sold out. Even if they push all the Donny fans up into the corner and gave us all the seats around them - which of course they wont do - it still wouldn't be a total sell-out as all the corporate is included in capacity and there's no way that'll be full tomorrow. Nice to see the place full again though.

BallBoy Posted 23 March, 2012 Share Posted 23 March, 2012 I feel a worrying sense of complacency from the fans about this game. I am sure Nigel will have the players properly prepared but the crowd can play a part if they start getting restless. Doncaster are a decent side. Much better than their position suggests. On paper this is a home banker but so was Barnsley and we laboured a bit with them. The crowd were subdued. We all need to be on top form to get these points in the bag as early as possible. Some people have started to plan their party already. It's way to soon for that. We are in a striong position but only if we maintain our form. corsacar saint Posted 23 March, 2012 Share Posted 23 March, 2012 Doncaster are a decent footballing side, who remember beat us up there, albeit with out Rickie. I am sure if we approach the game the right way,we will win by 2 or 3 goals,if we do not this could be one,if not the biggest shock in the championship this season. Saints Warrior Posted 23 March, 2012 Share Posted 23 March, 2012 I think Saints will approach this game very professionally and we have a good squad to select from which will provide the options to run at them. Saints 1-0 Doncaster or Saints 2-0 Doncaster. It could work in our favour as Doncaster have to come out and attack and that just might give Saints the chances to attack. Saints seam to me to be playing better and better and even if we dont play well we get the points, so here`s to 3 hard faught points.
Dr Who? Posted 23 March, 2012 Share Posted 23 March, 2012 It all points to a good day, and maybe even opening up a bigger gap at the top. I would prefer to be playing games against teams with nothing to play for, but all our home games are against teams battling for something, 3 at the bottom fighting for their lives, and one who would really love to put the breaks on our promotion push. The other also putting the breaks on and helping themselves at the same time. Our away games, it will only be Palace and Posh with nothing to play for, and Middlesbough may already have enough for the playoffs by them. You really can over think these things! Ha ha ha. VectisSaint Posted 23 March, 2012 Share Posted 23 March, 2012 Our away games, it will only be Palace and Posh with nothing to play for, and Middlesbough may already have enough for the playoffs by them. Palace are still looking for a late charge into the play-off places. The gap is only 7 points with a game in hand on several teams above them It might be all over for them by the time we play but this is probably as difficult an away game to win as any. And if you think Posh will roll over and make it easy for us, then look what they did to Reading, and not forgetting the grudge Ferguson holds against us. There are no even remotely easy games between now and the end of the season.

The Saturday Succulent Breasts seems to have worked for the last two Saturday games. Do I REALLY have to eat fricking Chicken for dinner EVERY game between now and the end of the season? Can I find a recipe for Chicken & Banana in time? And tactically, after Millwall, can I switch to have dinner ready at KO tme (7pm here) or do I have to leave it in the oven IN CASE I have to go downstairs with 10 mins to go to check on things and earn us a penalty... sir_fred Posted 24 March, 2012 Share Posted 24 March, 2012 Most importantant game of the season. Ok, I know that might not be fully truth but my point is coming from a couple of hard fought away wins and going in to a supposed easy home game is always tricky and demand character. 3 points to win today.
