Window Cleaner Posted 22 March, 2012 Share Posted 22 March, 2012 The Germans have a word for that. Schadenfreude being that word, isn't 5 weeks about all that rests of the season?
Legod Third Coming Posted 22 March, 2012 Share Posted 22 March, 2012 Confirmed last night that Reading's Jason Roberts will be out for up to 5 weeks I don't wish that sort of ill on anyone but that is a major blow to them. Since he started playing for them they have looked a far better side up front. He's a quality Premiership striker with a good brain. This can, sadly because I like to beat people fair and square, only be good news for us...
TUS Posted 22 March, 2012 Share Posted 22 March, 2012 Just back after stopping over the night in Hull. Thought the first half was a surprisingly open, end to end game, both teams could have got a couple. Hull knocked it around really well at times and the last 20 minutes of the 2nd half, they were one of the best sides I've seen this year. We did a really good job in the 2nd half of shutting the game out, slowing it down at the right moments and being a threat on the break, De Ridder was excellent at that and we finished the game pretty comfortably at the end. My man of the match for what its worth would be Schneiderlin, excellent, controlled display as usual. Tried to go out in Hull after the game, the quitest, deadest city we've ever been to, hunted high and low and found one pub open till midnight and that was it. Locals definitely a bit "different" up there as well. I would second that. We went back to Wetherspoons for one and then just headed to a curry house. Was too wasted after that to bother finding anywhere else
Window Cleaner Posted 22 March, 2012 Share Posted 22 March, 2012 Seen the game on Hull Player, not a scintillating performance but we did what was needed, might well be a couple more games like that this season I think. Didn't think Puncheon was all that bad at all, obviously had been assigned a fairly central role and won the ball well on a few occasions, definitely an interesting player, hope to see him again on Saturday.Fox does seem to punt the ball forward an awful lot though, perhaps it was just a means to an end for this game.
