Colinjb Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 Sacked by Chelsea for setting off a smoke grenade at the training ground. An ex-loanee of ours, what a fool.
JRM Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 I am going to set off a smoke grenade at Staplewood and blame it on Tommy Forecast. why would Mellis do that? as a free agent he could sign for the skates for the rest of the season?
Window Cleaner Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 Sacked by Chelsea for setting off a smoke grenade at the training ground. An ex-loanee of ours, what a fool. And a waste of talent, has done virtually nothing,a loan with us, a loan with Barnsley a few seasons later. Should be held up as an example to all young players thinking of signing with Chelsea. ThreeSixty Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 Could have been worse, could have been shooting youth players with an Air Rifle.
Give it to Ron Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 I remember when we signed him I was in the Wetherspoons in Stratford Upon Avon thnking he could be decent coming from Chelsea - I was disappointed in him far too lightweight. buctootim Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 Two players involved in it. They sacked the one they wanted rid of and fined the one they wanted to keep.
trousers Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 No-one got shot this time then?
buctootim Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 No-one got shot this time then? No. The Chelsea disciplinary tree goes like this: First team player shoots somebody. Fine Up and coming youngster brings smoke grenade in and lets it off. Fine Youngster going nowhere lets smoke grenade off with otther player. Sack. Micky Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 Nothing more than high jinks - just goes to prove that there can be smoke without fire....!!! Given other 'incidents' that have happened there, the lad can probably count himself a little unlucky really.

Window Cleaner Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 Do we think he definitely done it though? Well if he didn't he'll sue them for wrongful dismissal and make far more than he ever would for playing football. All young players should sign for a real team before they graduate to Chelsea and Utd, Morgan turned them down you know.Wanted to play football more than he wanted to be given (not earn) money.Mind you I think his folks are pretty well off. Window Cleaner Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 It's definitely easier to sack someone who is rubbish at football isn't it. We haven't managed to sack Tommy as of yet....so no it isn't.

L1Minus10 Posted 20 March, 2012 Share Posted 20 March, 2012 He's better off getting out of Chelsea anyway as it's a young players graveyard and always will be while Abramovich is there. Having said that, he'll be lucky to find a club above League 1 level as he was ********.
chocco boxo Posted 21 March, 2012 Share Posted 21 March, 2012 Tommy dropped his smoke bomb outside Staplewood, then when he got another one threw it but it ended up in his own net!

Certainly different to Newcastle's with Nile Ranger, up in the courts again for the third time this year!
