BadgerBadger Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Heard it was Sylvan Ebanks-Blake was the man to beat but just taking a look it's Andrew Johnson and Shaun Goater with 28. Be very surprised if SRL doesn't beat that and hopefully go 30+
david in sweden Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 according to a couple of sites, the three today also bring Ricky upto ........28 for the season (so far ).
Saint_clark Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 according to a couple of sites, the three today also bring Ricky upto ........28 for the season (so far ). In all competitions, the record in the OP is for league goals of which I think Lambert has 23 so far this season.

stevegrant Posted 18 March, 2012 Posted 18 March, 2012 Guy Whittingham got 42 for the blue few in 1992/93...
Lazlo78 Posted 18 March, 2012 Posted 18 March, 2012 Guy Whittingham got 42 for the blue few in 1992/93... But technically that would only be relevant if we looked at the second best league regardless of title. "Championship" top scorer according to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_League_Championship_Golden_Boot) is Ebanks-Blake in 08/09 with 25 goals. Ricky needs one more goal to equal that.
