Ohio Saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I predict a Saints equaliser on page 9 (ppppleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassseee!) And may your prediction be blessed with accuracy
VectisSaint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 We played excellent against Barnsley. Did we? We were awful in the first half against a very poor side who stopped us playing. Better in 2nd half but would not say we were excellent.
S-Clarke Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Billy sharp's first contribution is to give away a foul.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Millwall have been terrible at home recently! not today ........ so far
Avenue Saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Billy sharp's first contribution is to give away a foul. Needs game time.
S-Clarke Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Did we? We were awful in the first half against a very poor side who stopped us playing. Better in 2nd half but would not say we were excellent. 1st half was poor, 2nd half we were excellent I felt.
alpine_saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Did we? We were awful in the first half against a very poor side who stopped us playing. Better in 2nd half but would not say we were excellent. We've dug some better results out recently, but we still havent recovered our pre-December swagger, imo. Whether that is because our tactics are one-dimensonial and have been foun out, I dont know.
Micky Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 It's gonna be one of those days - give me a draw and Ill snap your hand off - no way we are turning this one around...
Stattmeister Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 It's not Alpine's predictably negative view that annoys me, its the fact that for us unable to hear it to be there, this is the match thread so can we just park opinions and be objective with detailing what's actually happening?? Thanks.
Ohio Saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 It's gonna be one of those days - give me a draw and Ill snap your hand off - no way we are turning this one around... Sums it up for me too
S-Clarke Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 It's gonna be one of those days - give me a draw and Ill snap your hand off - no way we are turning this one around... Are Millwall our new ''boggy'' side?
LatvianTolix Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 pleaaaaasssseeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Score the fecking goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 we need that as a breathing space!!!!!
Ohio Saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Gonna try a lucky smoke, I've tried everything else.
VectisSaint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 1st half was poor, 2nd half we were excellent I felt. Its a game of 90 minutes, so how can you say we played excellent yet admit we were poor in the 1st half. We were OK in the 2nd but not excellent, spent most of the time passing the ball around because we were out of sight of a very poor Barnsley team, when we should have been going for more goals.
alpine_saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 It's not Alpine's predictably negative view that annoys me, its the fact that for us unable to hear it to be there, this is the match thread so can we just park opinions and be objective with detailing what's actually happening?? Thanks. We are losing to a team with an utterly sh*te home record. Good enough for you ?
Avenue Saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I predict a goal in exactly 2 mins from now!
DG Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Have run out of lucky stuff to try, time to pray to the footballing gods.
S-Clarke Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Keogh has turned Jos all over the place today, which is worrying. Our CB's have had one of those games. But we're not offering anything really, all a bit rushed, panicky. No real head of steam by listening to it.
Thedelldays Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 We are losing to a team with an utterly sh*te home record. Good enough for you ? it happens though, why get so aggressive about it...?
Rasiak-9- Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 We are losing to a team with an utterly sh*te home record. Good enough for you ? To be fair to Alpine the guy wants Saints to win and he has every reason to be justifiably ****ed at what is frankly a catastrophic result.
Dr Who? Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 My Reading fan friends are loving this! Please please please, get level. Reading go to Posh on Tuesday, and we go to Hull, I can only see things getting worse!
Micky Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Are Millwall our new ''boggy'' side? If you are serious contenders then there are no bogey sides. I tend to agree with Alps about the Bristol games - most (honest) people would have expected us to get 4 - 6 points. To get nothing, I think, will be our undoing.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 We are losing to a team with an utterly sh*te home record. Good enough for you ? most of our losses have been to crap teams! (Doncaster and Bristol twice come to mind) not over yet

dubai_phil Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 We are losing to a team with an utterly sh*te home record. Good enough for you ? TBF the ref sounds shocking
Window Cleaner Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Bad sign, the commentators are looking for free kicks for us everywhere. Pity we don't have Chung today, maybe he'll be fit for Tuesday.
ooh it's a corner Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Come on Saint Patrick, who you gonna support today? Give us some luck of the Irish
dubai_phil Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Have run out of lucky stuff to try, time to pray to the footballing gods. Time to try the trip downstairs to check the Roast
BotleySaint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Still a long way to go yet even if we do lose today. Reading are looking pretty immense though.
S-Clarke Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Bad sign, the commentators are looking for free kicks for us everywhere. Pity we don't have Chung today, maybe he'll be fit for Tuesday. All sounds a bit desperate doesn't it? Such a shame. It sounded like it was going to be straight forward after 15mins!
Saint Without a Halo Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 We were meant to have the easy fixture out of the three at the top! typical saints
S-Clarke Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Still a long way to go yet even if we do lose today. Reading are looking pretty immense though. The WHU v Reading game is huge for us.
Thedelldays Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 When centre backs get little security in front of them, this can happen! from hammond no doubt..?
saint michael Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 goal coming for us now and push on for winner
OttawaSaint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 fukk, how can we struggle against the likes of Millwall and Bristol C, yet other teams trounce them with ease. So frustrating...
Lifelongsaint83 Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 We all knew slip up's were going to happen and if we do lose today its not the end of our chances for promotion or even winning the league. Things can change each week.
suewhistle Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I'm going to the fridge for a beer... Hope that works. I've a certain person on ignore and it seems like penalty
