I went to one of the very first shindigs at space around 1998

I also watched the premier of manumission the movie in 1998

what was big then

cream at amnesia

manumision at republic

pacha

space

clockwork orange at es paradis

like I said, I stayed at Club Paraiso (now ibiza rocks) the very first year it opened....

my mate worked at the only fools and horses themed bar (have no idea if it is there still) on the west end

Mambo is the most over-hyped place on the sunset strip. If you really want sangria and some nice food whilst watching sunset then carry on walking round the promenade to Sun Sea Bar. Better seating, less packed, better view and half the price of mambo.

I remember sitting around Mambo and loads of the birds started crying when the sun set

get a grip ffs

Off in September again, proper amazing place, got a lush villa this year as well. Interesting to look through this thread and see how bad some peoples music taste is.

The plan for my week is as follows:

Sat - Arrive and West End

Sun - We Love @ Space (best night on the Island)

Mon - DC10

Tues - Carl Cox @ Space

Wed - Ibiza Rocks

Thu - Cream @ Amnesia (not 100% on this one though, not massively keen)

Fri - Home time

Really is an amazing island, that gets better the more I go.

September is definitely the time to go. We've been in June, August and September and the closing parties were stupidly good. Didn't make it last year so I'm keen to check out Sankeys, and I've never been to Ibiza Rocks. Probably a good chance to this year as Wednesdays have nothing much on. (Erick Morillo usually, but done that night twice now).

Arrive Saturday, West End.

Sunday - Space

Monday - DC10, although Cocoon @ Amnesia would be good

Tuesday - Carl Cox & Friends.

Wednesday - Ibiza Rocks or Sankeys

Thursday - Cream @ Amnesia. I don't mind a bit of trance and Cream is always a top night. Saw Deadmau5, Ferry Corsten, John O'Callaghan and Michael Woods there last time and it was ace.

Friday - Heard that Sankeys will be getting some good nights on Fridays. Pete Tong also had good lineups last year in Eden but his night will be in Pacha this year I think. Big improvement.

Saturday - back to reality

Went to Sun Sea Bar, was also very nice, but preferred Mambo. And it is a long way round, next to Kanya isn't it?
