Jack Posted 21 March, 2012 Posted 21 March, 2012 I'll be really ****ed if i miss this one, reckon i'll have notched up between 14-16 aways this season by the end of it but i'm waiting on being paid. The club should definitely have done this as season ticket/most aways first to thank those of us that have put in the miles this season. The combination of an easy away and the sniff of success may see some miss out though which is a real mistake in my opinion Wasn't this fixture announced about 8 months ago? You should have had plenty of time to save up for a ticket.
The9 Posted 21 March, 2012 Posted 21 March, 2012 Wasn't this fixture announced about 8 months ago? You should have had plenty of time to save up for a ticket. Don't start that old chestnut again, I'd usually be the one claiming we should have an instalment plan for it.
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 well the woman in the ticket office told me its 1 per ST but the online system obviously doesn't know that, just got 5!
georgeg Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 well the woman in the ticket office told me its 1 per ST but the online system obviously doesn't know that, just got 5! Hi COYR cant see them listed online!?
View From The Top Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Hi COYR cant see them listed online!? They were yesterday, I bought two.
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Hi COYR cant see them listed online!? They're still on there, bottom of four listed in away games
Sour Mash Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 well the woman in the ticket office told me its 1 per ST but the online system obviously doesn't know that, just got 5! Its why they don't normally put restricted sale tickets available on-line, as the system is useless and has little control over what people actually buy.
Lets B Avenue Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Just been down and got 16. They only wanted my season ticket number, despite me having all the numbers, as they normally require them.
Saint Garrett Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Yer, my dad got 3 yesterday without having to even state he was a STH...bit of a cock up if some STH don't get tickets who have been to loads of aways.
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Its why they don't normally put restricted sale tickets available on-line, as the system is useless and has little control over what people actually buy. think their is some genuine confusion over whether its actually 1 pet ST, normally they make it clear and its not on this
Sour Mash Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 think their is some genuine confusion over whether its actually 1 pet ST, normally they make it clear and its not on this I just bought 5 over the phone. Had season ticket numbers for all of them, but she didn't seem bothered once I'd given mine and name/address etc, went through and got them "added" to the season ticket numbers anyway, for the unlikely even that they could come in use at some point. So thinking about it, it does seem like season ticket holders can buy as many as they want - which is ridiculous.

Does seem to be season ticket holders can buy as many as they want. Will feel for some of those that go regularly away if they end up missing out on this one. Shouldn't be a problem though fingers crossed.

To be fair, they could of limited it to 2 per st max. or something, wouldn't be hard I also have the customer numbers for all 5 tickets by the way, but our accounts aren't linked online
rick1976.4.38 Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 will be gutted if me and my son dont get tickets for this, only up the road.away fans should be catered for more by sfc.especially those who were at hull on tuesday.still got boro and posh to look forward to

Just ring up and try your luck now. They're pretty thick.

Drop him a line. On a slightly separate note, anyone buying a student ticket, I was told they are collection only, at either St Marys or Selhurst, with production of a valid NUS card required, bit annoying to say the least.
rick1976.4.38 Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Assume you're not a season ticket holder. Just ring up and try your luck now. They're pretty thick. not a sth, only get to do one game a month,so i always do aways, enjoy the crack away, more fun,.ill just keep fingers crossed,or do like dellhurst and go in with the home support

Guess our ticket office might have assumed that our allocation was so big anyone that wants a ticket would get one anyway. At this rate, I'm not so sure.

No harm in trying...
rick1976.4.38 Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 they dont show up on the online system.ill give it a go calling them
Sour Mash Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 cheers mate.ive been in touch with griffo but not likely to be able to get.more wanting for stevie really,i can cope missing if i have to He should have a season ticket number to use to call up with, seems for a lot of people as long as you have one season ticket number to use, you can buy as many tickets as you want with it. Hit and miss as always with our ticket office though.
This Charming Man Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 they dont show up on the online system.ill give it a go calling them Or just use a season ticket holders number once they've received their tickets (so they can't cancel one of the orders).
Genk Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Guy I spoke to asked for quite a few details about each customer number I gave. Seems like online is the best way for non STH if you have one STH's number. Fancy these to sell out before general sale.
100%Red&White Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 If these tickets are selling as fast as being said then I can possibly see Palace releasing more. At the mo they've moved out their eason ticket holders to give us the entire stand but have left 2 blocks of seats at either end of the Saints fans. I can see them wanting segregation at the (I think) Holmesdale End where their 'Ultras' gather in the corner but I can't see how they'd need it the other end. Hopefully, if need be, they'll give us another section of seats at both ends which would still leave a sterile area, probably an extra 1,000 tickets. Guess the Met may have the final say.

JRM Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 anyone had an update from the ticket office today on number of tickets sold?
JRM Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Shown as sold out on the online system now. wow, i wonder if they have done that to restrict online sales, or maybe they are waiting for the extra tickets to take it up to 5817
Um Bongo Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 wow, i wonder if they have done that to restrict online sales, or maybe they are waiting for the extra tickets to take it up to 5817 Theres only 1/2 coaches shown left as well so I imagine they have sold the allocation.
Um Bongo Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Another 1,000 on sale from tomorrow PM. 3,000 sold already.
JRM Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Another 1,000 on sale from tomorrow PM. 3,000 sold already. why are they faffing around with an extra 1000 , just get the full lot on sale!!
Joe Kirkup Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 I will also be peed off if they don't go to general sale having done 11 aways already. Trust the ticket office to change things - at least last year when they were avaialable to STH only you could still buy on line without being a STH. If any STH aren't going would appreciate if I could use your number?
Um Bongo Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Saying Pm really does not help anyone It's 1 o clock they go on sale.
ben05 Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Hope these do make general sale. Done 7 away games this season so I would be gutted if I missed out. Anyone know how likely we are to get the full allocation? I have had a quick look for trains and due to the bank holiday I can’t find any on the train line or SW trains. Anyone had this issue/ knows how to get round it? Cheers

shurlock Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 i wish everyone was this keen for millwall. Why? 2 penalties weren't enough!?! Decent turnout in the end with quite a few in the lower tier.
View From The Top Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 i wish everyone was this keen for millwall. We sold out for that did we not and were given some extra for the bottom tier. I'd call pretty keen.
chocco boxo Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Millwall who the **** cares how many we took there!!! Palace is what this thread is about!!!!!!!! Lets not start the super fan mentality again!
cdvdtz Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 i wish everyone was this keen for millwall. First tome they've opened the bottom tier to away fans this season, I'd say that's pretty keen.
Sour Mash Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 We sold out for that did we not and were given some extra for the bottom tier. I'd call pretty keen. For what its worth we didn't sell out. I understand there are lots of reasons why some games are more popular than others, but we do have some extreme differences in demand at times, bit odd.
Sour Mash Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 First tome they've opened the bottom tier to away fans this season, I'd say that's pretty keen. Leeds, West Ham and various others aren't allowed to have the lower tier.

I don't think it's any more "odd" than for any other family club passing on a day out at Millwall. Our support has been immense since relegation and sooner than run it down we should be proud of it.

Doesn't mean we can't comment on any deviations from that.

saints-cris Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Will be gutted if this doesnt reach general sale.
Mouldy Coat Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Anybody prepared to get me 5 tickets for this one and I'll dry hump them on the floor?
