stevegrant Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2658576,00.html £30 though
Mattio Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I'm back in Soton that weekend so hoping to go, hopefully will be an awesome atomosphere, steep ticket price though...
Saint_Jonny Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 £18 for me. Probably my last ever student ticket, mind. Unless they do them at boro'... Anyway, be amazing if we can take the full allocation.
This Charming Man Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I'll be getting a student ticket and I haven't been a student for about 8 years.
the mick channon windmill Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 what a day this will be, I remember dellhurst park day, we had well over 9,000 there and could have sold so many more....... we will easily sell these 5,817 tickets
JRM Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Steep prices, but cracking allocation, we are being well catered for in the run in , tickets galore. when was the last time we took just under 6000 to an away game?
Matthew Le God Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I'm back in Soton that weekend so hoping to go. The game is in South London.
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Steep prices, but cracking allocation, we are being well catered for in the run in , tickets galore. when was the last time we took just under 6000 to an away game? Would be that "Dellhurst" game. Has it been confirmed that Peterborough will still have their terrace open for our visit?
JRM Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Would be that "Dellhurst" game. Has it been confirmed that Peterborough will still have their terrace open for our visit? Yes, Steve got confirmation on twitter from their chairman that Peterborough terrace will still be there for our visit.
JRM Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Would be that "Dellhurst" game. Has it been confirmed that Peterborough will still have their terrace open for our visit? you got any info on what the engineering work will be that weekend? i reckon trains diverted around twickenham from the sound of this http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/AprilEng2012.aspx#92644
hutch Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 £18 for me. Probably my last ever student ticket, mind. Unless they do them at boro'... Anyway, be amazing if we can take the full allocation. Go for a PhD, you'll save yourself a fortune.
stevegrant Posted 14 March, 2012 Author Posted 14 March, 2012 Steep prices, but cracking allocation, we are being well catered for in the run in , tickets galore. when was the last time we took just under 6000 to an away game? Derby in the playoffs? That must have been at least 5k
holepuncture Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Excellent - but before everyone starts licking their lips I must ask... why are we struggling to take 3k to Millwall on Saturday? Its next door to Palace, on St.Paddys day, dead easy to get to, safest away in the country and so on... I get that its not that family friendly but neither is Palace nor was Leyton or West Ham... we have lots of lads in the Northam, Kingland corner, Itchen etc, should be able to fill our allocation! Dellhurst MKII and this time we will be fighting to go up rather than stay up! IIRC it was closer to 12k with people dotted about in other stands? Cant wait. Yes, Steve got confirmation on twitter from their chairman that Peterborough terrace will still be there for our visit. Blimey, I thought that had been replaced for the start of this season! This changes everything.
simo Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 If it turns out anything like orient away last year it will be awesome!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Dellhurst was a magnificent day....when it went in from the corner....about 6 rows all lurched forward and went down a few rows...
rshephard3 Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Yes, Steve got confirmation on twitter from their chairman that Peterborough terrace will still be there for our visit. How many roughly would that allow us at P'boro? Does anyone know?
Golden Balls Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Would be great to take the full allocation. What an atmosphere that would be
stevegrant Posted 14 March, 2012 Author Posted 14 March, 2012 How many roughly would that allow us at P'boro? Does anyone know? About 5,000 including the block of seating away teams get in the side stand.
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Yes, Steve got confirmation on twitter from their chairman that Peterborough terrace will still be there for our visit. Course he did, remember now. Good stuff.
alehouseboys Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 what a day this will be, I remember dellhurst park day, we had well over 9,000 there and could have sold so many more....... we will easily sell these 5,817 tickets We were given 9,000 tickets for the entire Arthur Wait stand but another 3,000 bought through ticketmaster and were mainly housed down one end of the stand opposite. Plenty of Saints fans got in on 'home' tickets too...not the hardest job back then considering the opposition! Excellent - but before everyone starts licking their lips I must ask... why are we struggling to take 3k to Millwall on Saturday? Are we "struggling" to take 3k to Millwall? Don't forget we sold the initial 2k and only got the extra 1,000 a few days ago, does anybody really know how many are left? I'd be surprised if there are by the end of the week. It is far safer these days but it's still a tough place to go if you want it to be and whether it's 2,500 or 3,000 we're just one of only 2 or 3 clubs that have taken the bottom tier there in a very long time.
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 you got any info on what the engineering work will be that weekend? i reckon trains diverted around twickenham from the sound of this http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/AprilEng2012.aspx#92644 Trains taking about an extra 40 minutes to London that day, same on the return.
Jack Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Good news. That's going to be some week of football with Reading on the Friday as well. Might take the week off as I won't be going to work on the Tuesday anyway.
Gemmel Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Dellhurst park mk11... here we come One of the best footballing days of my life. You could sense something in the air, before you even got to the ground. I really hope we sell out.
Saints foreva Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Anyone know if the Student ticket's have to be a NUS card? I'm in full time education as a student at that dump City College who don't do NUS cards.

saints-cris Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I assume this will reach general sale? Should be a blinding atmoshpere
This Charming Man Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I assume this will reach general sale? Should be a blinding atmoshpere It will now with this allocation.
IFHP Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I assume this will reach general sale? Should be a blinding atmoshpere Just tell people Palace are the new Millwall, would make general sale easy then.
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I assume this will reach general sale? Should be a blinding atmoshpere Will definitely make general sale, not sure if we'll even sell the whole allocation to be honest.
This Charming Man Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Will definitely make general sale, not sure if we'll even sell the whole allocation to be honest. I reckon we will. We all know how our fans love a safe away day.
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I reckon we will. We all know how our fans love a safe away day. I reckon it'll be a bell-ends day out if we do, full of people getting giddy after a beer too many on their once a year all-dayer up in London
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I'll probably be in with the home fans. Any particular reason why?
Saint_Jonny Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I reckon it'll be a bell-ends day out if we do, full of people getting giddy after a beer too many on their once a year all-dayer up in London You are bitter soul aren't you.
This Charming Man Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I reckon it'll be a bell-ends day out if we do, full of people getting giddy after a beer too many on their once a year all-dayer up in London You're gonna have to come up trumps with a backstreet boozer away from the cretins for this one.

Griffo Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I reckon it'll be a bell-ends day out if we do, full of people getting giddy after a beer too many on their once a year all-dayer up in London Watford away this season springs to mind.
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 You are bitter soul aren't you. I'm full of the joys of spring really, this forum just brings out the worst in me, particularly happy clappys like "This Charming Man" with his excitement at everyone going to Palace
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 You're gonna have to come up trumps with a backstreet boozer away from the cretins for this one.The wheels are already in motion mate, fair few choices to be fair.
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 Watford away this season springs to mind. In the ground at Watford definitely. To be fair, I'm looking forward to this, *potentially* a cracking weekend, I'll probably be the giddyiest c**t going by the end of it ha.

I'm not sure, how successful the weekend is depends on your pub choices for the day.
shurlock Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 I reckon we will. We all know how our fans love a safe away day. As opposed to what? The alcatraz fencing of the new den, a heavy OB presence and and your own chartered train service to and from london bridge? A thoroughly unsafe away day? Would rather a horde of hicks from hampshire at places like palace than the w**kish posturings that trips to Millwall always dredge up.

ANyone that indulges in "w**kish posturings" at Millwall, will be there with bells on at Palace.
Sour Mash Posted 14 March, 2012 Posted 14 March, 2012 People always have to moan.... Boring isn't it?
This Charming Man Posted 15 March, 2012 Posted 15 March, 2012 As opposed to what? Would rather a horde of hicks from hampshire at places like palace than the w**kish posturings that trips to Millwall always dredge up. I'm fully aware of the security operation they have at Millwall, you don't need to convince me. I'm fully aware it's one of the safest away days going. It's the stigma that's attached to Millwall that puts off our fans. Hence why we took more to Coventry than we did to 'wall in the next round of the cup and are struggling to shift 3,000 tickets for it, when you couldn't get a ticket for love nor money for Orient and Palace in years gone by.

I haven't let the fact it doesn't scan properly deter me.

I haven't let the fact it doesn't scan properly deter me. We're on the march with Nigels army, we're all going to Dellhurst Park" scans much better. Don't let the fact that Dell is long gone spoil it
