Away on a ski trip - coach crash.

Do any of the other parents among us ever wonder when you kiss Johnny or Jane goodbye before a school trip, if you will ever see them again ?

My heart goes out to those Belgian parents this morning.

Terrible accident. Those tunnels are often killers. I've driven through three trans alpine, none of them are pleasant but one in particular was really scary. The lighting was odd - you couldnt see well and it was kind of hypnotic. Worst 12 driving miles of my life.

Terribly sad news, I can't even start to imagine what it's like to lose a child. Condolences to all involved.

I understand the sentiments behind the OP's question, and the answer is no. A tragedy could strike at any time, when Johnny or Jane cross the road to school, or go out and climb trees with their mates, I read today that a girl died after being hit with a rugby ball, such tragic events are a fact of life. If you start letting things like this worry you every time your kids are out of sight, you will soon end up in the mad-house.
