harwellsaint Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 sorry if already stated, but do they have to travel same way as we did?
deadpanmatt Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 They have to get a coach from Portsmouth yes. A mate of mine is a Pompey fan and he has to buy the ticket and a £12 coach ticket on top.
jawillwill Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 sorry if already stated, but do they have to travel same way as we did? No, they travel in the opposite direction I think.
harwellsaint Posted 12 March, 2012 Author Posted 12 March, 2012 No, they travel in the opposite direction I think. will you be with them smartarse
Badger Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 Been wondering how this will work, and how coaches for 3,000 will be parked away in a confined area behind the Northam so as to keep the skates away from civilisation after the match. Will a large section of Britannia be barricaded off like a war zone ?
Badger Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 No, they travel in the opposite direction I think. No, actually I think they will travel in the same directions that we did, just in a different order to us.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 I hope they are not served alcohol at St Marys. We seem to always treat away fans well, even the Skates and considering we were not allowed any alcohol down there,i think its only fair we treat them the same.
latter day saint Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 i'm sure i remember reading that we are serving them alcohol. not fair but at least we can guarantee getting some money out of the bastards!
ThreeSixty Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 i'm sure i remember reading that we are serving them alcohol. not fair but at least we can guarantee getting some money out of the bastards! Hope the staff are well trained on catching fake notes.
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 They have to get a coach from Portsmouth yes. A mate of mine is a Pompey fan and he has to buy the ticket and a £12 coach ticket on top. How can you have a "mate" from Pomp+y - sorry you are not a Saints fan.
bender Posted 12 March, 2012 Posted 12 March, 2012 I think the Pompey bubble well and truly burst about 3 years ago.
70's Mike Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 The police operation from Motorway to St Marys is going to be a lot harder to achieve than when we went to Fratton, straight down a dual carriage way(Eastern Road). Policing Bursledon and Bitterne roads will be tough assuming they take that route

Toomer Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 Funny thing is they have to pay for their travel direct to coach company.
Dog Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 The skates have to pay for their coach travel when they pay for their ticket, but it doesn't mean they have to get on the coach. Ticket in hand, many ways to travel to Saints without using the buses.
Andover_Saint07 Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 i think they dont get game ticket untill they board the coaches. Is that not what saints had to do?
Noodles34 Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 No, they travel in the opposite direction I think. lol, brilliant
Noodles34 Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 sorry if already stated, but do they have to travel same way as we did? why are you sorry? Are you anticipating a barrage of abuse for daring to ask something that has been previously discussed?

This Charming Man Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 why are you sorry? Are you anticipating a barrage of abuse for daring to ask something that has been previously discussed? That's how it normally works on here.
Dimond Geezer Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 what, straight down a dual carriageway to SMS It's only a dual carriageway from Bitterne.
Noodles34 Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 It's only a dual carriageway from Bitterne. apart from the bit down the hill past Thornhill, and the bit from J8 up to the Tesco O,
Golden Balls Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 Wonder if we'll give them the same welcome...........nothing

Secret Site Agent Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 i'm sure i remember reading that we are serving them alcohol. not fair but at least we can guarantee getting some money out of the bastards! Unlike most people:lol:
Huffton Posted 13 March, 2012 Posted 13 March, 2012 Is this right? No, match tickets are being handed out on the buses, same as for us.

Policing Bursledon and Bitterne roads will be tough assuming they take that route Odd that there is an embargo on traffic orders for the M27, yet there wasn't one for the Poopey game. (Means we couldn't put out ant cones and would have to take them off unless there is a safety issue). It's almost like they don't want Poopey to be inconvenienced
harwellsaint Posted 13 March, 2012 Author Posted 13 March, 2012 cunny funt, c you at next home gamewhy are you sorry? Are you anticipating a barrage of abuse for daring to ask something that has been previously discussed?
