sandwichsaint Posted 12 March, 2012 Share Posted 12 March, 2012 They just mentioned the tweet on the radio...saying he was spot on Apparently many there last night were gobsmacked when they found out Pompey had 2 tables About half of the NPC clubs did not have any..!!! Why would they? Isn't it the 'normal procedure' that this sort of thing is attended by the nominees etc? The 'problems' seem to have been caused by the damn fool ridiculous nomination of Cheats FC for any sort of award (let alone a 'community' based one) and then compounded by our super-douper, down-with-the-kids, social media spokesperson who seems to have over-blurred the boundaries between the personal and the proffessional. Two wrongs don't usually make a right and in this case maybe we all just better move on? Lord knows there's enough carp we fans can legitimately throw at them (and we do every day, that's cos we're fans and it's banter) without the 'official' club's spokesperson getting down in the gutter with them; I should imagine Mr Twibley had rather a red face this morning. If it means a sponsor, then that money could have been used for something else anyway in the club.

That would be wages for two office clerks this month. What a bunch of shameless f@@ks.

scotty Posted 12 March, 2012 Share Posted 12 March, 2012 It genuinely amazes me that anyone at all takes twitter seriously. I rank it right up there alongside Viz, http://www.c*ntscorner.com and The Onion as a source of information, surely its just an open arena for a good old-fashioned sl*gging match? And if Steven Fry disagrees with me, he can f*ck right off to belgium. Again.

supersonic Posted 13 March, 2012 Share Posted 13 March, 2012 Their fans reactions have been hilarious. So bitter and idiotic it's untrue. Can you imagine how bitter and upset they'll be when we relegate them at St.Mary's?
Secret Site Agent Posted 13 March, 2012 Share Posted 13 March, 2012 How will you feel if a Saints fan gets blinded with a pound coin thrown into our end by a Pompey fan angry because of Sibleys comments? Mind you, If it was the other way round and a Saints fan threw a coin at a Pompey fan, would they consider that malicous, or a take over bid. You would have thought Sibley would've learnt his lesson after his comments about the Daily Echo.
