James Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Sitting next to the T.Lee fan club, don't have the heart to tell them he's injured...
Dr Who? Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Which is always the sort of form that gives you the shudders because they can't get any worse and sods law says it's always against Saints that they'll start improving. Also looking for their 800 win at the ground.
Ohio Saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Sitting next to the T.Lee fan club, don't have the heart to tell them he's injured... Ouch!
patred44 Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 (edited) I personally prefer Hammond there, especially when the going gets rough OH ! And Terry Paine in his prime, which they are, would walk into this side. He had pace, control, and could cross the ball on a sixpence.. He could be a nasty beggar as well!!!! Rickie would have loved him. Edited 17 March, 2012 by patred44
Dr Who? Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I'm desperate for promotion. If we get it, I think we will be living for a while in the comfort of mid table with no real nerve shredding table permutations. After the last couple of years I need the rest! As long as the are no relegation battles, I will be happy.........well for a few months/weeks. Well I am a football fan.
Dr Who? Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I personally prefer Hammond there, especially when the going gets rough Millwall love to get stuck in!
Window Cleaner Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I personally prefer Hammond there, especially when the going gets rough Especially as we're playing on Tuesday as well. Cork has looked a bit neither Chalk nor Cheese of late. not great defensively, not great offensively.Hope we'll see (for the first half at least) Hammond in the anchor role abnd Morgan bursting forward and having a stab like he did against Barnsley last week.
musesaint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Why is everyone crying over the fact we're playing Guly instead of Sharp? Guly knows the system in side and out. He has scored one fewer goal than Sharp in the league so you can't question his goalscoring credentials. Sharp has hardly set the place on fire when he's played. Also, Hammond ahead of Cork...anyone questioning that should watch the Adkins pre match press conference for an explanation. Stop second guessing, support all 16 of them, let's stuff Millwall!!!!! COYS What he said!

COYS not even one less, that goal that Sharp claimed against Burnley was an OG so that makes them even, Sharp has 2 or 3 penalties in his total as well.
Ohio Saint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Guly Hattrick at 80-1? Not good enough odds IMO. Hate to say it though.
patred44 Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Guly Hattrick at 80-1? I SINCERELY HOPE HE DOES... must be worth a 5p bet !
Winchester Red Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 not even one less, that goal that Sharp claimed against Burnley was an OG so that makes them even, Sharp has 2 or 3 penalties in his total as well. Although to be fair to Sharp his goals were scored in a crap team where as Guly's were scored in a winning team scoring lots of goals (evil grin)
ThreeSixty Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Although to be fair to Sharp his goals were scored in a crap team where as Guly's were scored in a winning team scoring lots of goals (evil grin) So you're saying there was less players at Donny that could take goals from Sharp while Guly had to compete with Lambo, Lallana Etc el
patred44 Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 he's got to be given a decent chance soon, otherwise you have to question whether we should have paid so much
Winchester Red Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 So you're saying there was less players at Donny that could take goals from Sharp while Guly had to compete with Lambo, Lallana Etc el Touche (can't do slanty thing over the 'e' but you're not worth one anyway!)
CWD Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I SINCERELY HOPE HE DOES... must be worth a 5p bet ! I bottled it and chucked a token quid on him to score 2 or more. Only 14/1 though
thorpie the sinner Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 he's got to be given a decent chance soon, otherwise you have to question whether we should have paid so much maybe we wanted him so no one else could get him! Vey intrigued today!! Without doubt he is 4th choice!!!
Faz Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 You should know by now, if Guly is fit, he plays. Billy on the bench. Ahem......
maxi_sopez Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 i dont get why adkins bought sharp and then never play him. very baffling.
Pedro Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Sharp will get his moment soon, has come from a lowly team to a top one so will come into the team when NA thinks he will be a winner. So hard to call today, should be a certainty on current form but who knows what Millwall will throw at us. Lets face it, they only beat a Saints second team in the cup, I'll sacrifice that every time for a league win. I'm more nervous now with promotion beckoning than when we have been relegated, feel this will be our best chance to get promoted for a few years. COYS
dubai_phil Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Disaster striles for Eric... His internet has crashed all day... Luckily being a "nice guy" I've invited him down to Casa Felipe, obviously armed with copious OSH's of course So could be messy on the match fred later. He can check out my succulent Roast Chicken
musesaint Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Just put a squid on Guly for a hatrick - mental but the comments above forced me
Verbal Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I count just one player in that team that wasn't a regular, or with us, in L1. Not bad going...
Pamplemousse Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 I count just one player in that team that wasn't a regular, or with us, in L1. Not bad going... Actually it's two, Hooiveld and Danny Fox. Even so, that's pretty good.

Saint Garrett Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 No Puncheon in the 16 again?? What's the chances of another bust up or a re-occurance of the last one? Or just not favoured ?
SuperMikey Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 Billy must be getting p!ssed off about not getting picked. Thought he'd be perfect for this game... However, in Nige we trust!
patred44 Posted 17 March, 2012 Posted 17 March, 2012 As long as you guys can keep your hands off each other's willies it's all good. try it pal
