Coming up from Salisbury, National rail site is saying get to SB via clapham/victoria. Any good?

someone has already responded to your earlier post but here's hteir response again

go to Waterloo and get the Tube to London Bridge on the Jubilee line as that's what I do when I do Millwall anyway or go to Waterloo East and get any train down to London Bridge then train from their to South Bermondsey

Alternatively you could try looking at football ground guide for information

I'll be getting a train to Three Bridges and then from there get a train straight to London Bridge.

Where is everyone drinking prematch? Don't want to wander into a pub near London Bridge only to be faced with ****ed Millwall fans. See you lads at the game

The Old Kings Head or the Barrowboy and Banker always have plenty of Saints fans in them.

Please don't underestimate the quality that Connolly brings to our team. He is a very intelligent and experienced player. Look at his contribution at Nottingham and Ipswich away. Some of our best phases of football have included Connolly. Don't be ageist! He is still a very good player and is what our dressing room needs in the final 10 games.

The Market Porter in the middle of Borough Market, two minutes from London Bridge tube/overland - one of the best real ale pubs in London (it's one of my favourites anyway - http://www.markettaverns.co.uk/the_market_porter.html) , and you can drink outside on the street especially as it looks like it could ber really warm.

For the tourists amongst you, just around the corner from Borough Market is the The George (The George Inn Yard, 77 Borough High Street) - a National Trust owned pub. One of the last galleried inns in London (http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/george-inn/) it's worth a visit and you can sit in the courtyard - beers not too bad either - Greene King, with a special brew just for the pub

Thought he was excellent when he came on Saturday (apart from the sitter he missed, of course).

Both games when Saints were awesome anyway, they are the only ones when DC plays well. Connolly is like having a friend who turns up at your Hawaiian beach house to party when you've won the lottery, but is nowhere to be seen when your wife leaves you and your house burns down.

Would we have won at Ipswich and Notts with Sharp, Lee or Barnard up front instead? You can never be certain but I'd have said most probably.

I thought we did win at Ipswich??

Warning: The Market Porter don't like anyone wearing footy colours. Refused entry on that basis after the last M'Wall match.

Based upon Twitter updates alone, Falque and Barnard appear to have shone in today's "U21/reserves" game vs Crystal Palace.

Can only add to Adkin's "nice problem to have" 1st team squad selection options....

(yes, I know, I know...."it was only Crystal Palace's development squad so don't get ahead of yourself Trousers")

So where is everyone drinking before the game? I do love London aways with plenty of friends and family up there. Think our lot are going to have a little session in central London after the game as well. Don't know about the rest of you but these games feel like they're getting bigger and bigger every week! Absolutely no chance in hell that i can watch any of these remaining games sober - fair play to those of you who can. Hope that we bring a load up there this weekend. Having big followings is really going to be important from here on in.

As far as the team goes, i think i'd start Chaplow and Cork for Hammond and Guly. May even consider giving Sharp a go from the start up top. Whatever the team though, i can't help but feel that 3 points here would be absolutely massive going into a very tough game at Hull on Tuesday night.

My post was just in response as to the question where most Saints fans would be drinking, but you're right Market Porter, Southwark Tavern and the George are all good, although despite the George having that great court yard out the front and looking impressive from the outside, its a bit of a let down inside, wouldn't be top of my list when drinking around there personally.

For those on the tube, there's a fair old bit of disruption this weekend.

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/livetravelnews/planned-works/calendar/default.aspx

I come in from Paddington and last time caught the Thames Clipper to Greenland Pier then walked to the ground which took 20 minutes.

this saturday is actually pretty good compared to some, no work on northern or jubilee lines the main services out of London Bridge, should be a doddle for you from Paddington take the bakerloo then jubilee

Getting back to Waterloo for a 6.40 train would be easy? just being kept behind etc. Got a shift to get back to..

Yeah. Just make sure you are nearish the front of the queue when waiting to get out the ground so you guarantee making the first train out of South Bermondsey. You'll be back at London Bridge by 6pm.

yes easily, it is only 5 mins from South Bermondsey to London Bridge, then another 5 from there to waterloo, so even allowing for changing and waiting at Millwall it won't be a problem.

I would bring Chaplow in for Guly and Cork for Hammond for this game. Leave the rest unchanged.

This. Bring on SDR and Punch if things aren’t going according to plan. Really can believe we haven’t sold out. If we score early I think we will relax and could have a few. Could be a big weekend with West Ham at Leeds. Weather looks a bit pants but hopefully it will still be a good day out. Big performance needed. Step up boys! COYR WIFM

My tickets have just arrived. I'm in the North Lower, what does that mean?
it means you are downstairs (with me). I think we are one of the few sides that have ever taken both tiers. Certainly we haven't before. West Ham, Wolves and not too many others have I think. Stattos?
