Tonights match

A 1-1 draw. Is that what you class as "turning a game around"? Lol. What is the difference between that and the 1-1 at home to Cardiff after being a goal down (apart from the fact that we were playing better opposition)?

And away at West Ham and Reading, now two of the top 3. Round of applause to us for turning games round against our rivals. Why can't they do that?

I agree with Alps.

Until the middle of December we had been behind for a grand total of just 5 minutes at home. (Forest for a minute and Hull for 4 minutes). How can we show our fightback qualities if we don't let the opposition score more often ???

Adkins out!!

Everyone, look at Sue....

Her posts are odd. One against you telling everyone that you are on her ignore list and won't be coming off it, I'm sure you're bothered. Her sole contribution to a thread the other day was to say I am a ****. Very strange going in.

Why does it have to be at home ?

We made no inroads into getting back into the game against Cardiff away, Leicester home or Bristol City on both occasions.

Where do you sit, no booing in block 33 Kingsland. Sure there was disapointment but the team was still applauded off at the final whistle.

I was sat in block 28. Not huge boos, don't get me wrong, but a group of boo's not far away from me.

Probably from the same area which contained a bloke who thought Adkins was out of his depth, and we need to replace him if we get promoted - as it will be in 'spite' of him. Genius.

He's one of us, just with different views of the same situations.

To be fair, we've played 40 odd games this season and I forgot the Forest and Hull sequences of events when I posted that comment. My bad. I just seem to recall historically we are not very good at fighting our way back into games.

We're very good at comfortably winning games though. ;)

I know what sort of results I'd prefer...

No we havent.

Have we come from behind once to win this year ? Fought our way back to an even standing then ruthlessly turned the screw ?

How about doing some research and post your findings rather than post questions? Just an idea. Then we'd have something tangible to debate rather than scattergun hunches.

Shame Alpine, you were really starting to improve of late. What's the point of saying things like 'if WHU had played for a couple more minutes they would have won'. Fact is they didn't play 2 more minutes, and they didn't win. It's when you put needlessly negative slants on your opinion like this that wind people up. Also, as I've said before, why present it as though it's a fact? When we draw, it's because the lads are **** or bottled it, but when our rivals drop points it's because they didn't have enough time to win!? Seriously!?

Both good results tonight as it also probably means we're out of sight of Brighton and Cardiff. I'm a little ****ed off though coz I put a bit of money on Watford to win!

Out of the 15 league games we've gone behind in, we've lost 7, drawn 6 and won 2 - in other words, we've got something out of more than half those games. Not too shabby.

Have heard some moronic things on here but the idea we don't win enough when we go behind -in large part because we rarely go behind- takes the biscuit

Quite - forgot we can do it away from home too.....and what about scoring early at Elland Road then keeping a clean sheet?

leeds was an almighty fight...? no..?

Derby away. Does Coventry count where they clawed their way back to 2-2 only for us to smash 2 more past them? Same at Ipswich where they got back to 3-2 only for us to do the same there.

West ham went 1-0 down at our place and couldn't fight their way back into that one. I thought they could do it and we can't?

So actually we fight our way back into games more often than we don't.

Sign of a team that has the will to get promoted; can claw its way back from any situation.

On Saturday, yes.

Yesterday ? Deinfitely not. Not the first time we've had a lapse and thrown away 2 points this season.

Why cant we do this in games ?

Can you imagine what this guy would be like if he supported the Skates. Does my ****ing head in...

In a few weeks time we may find out that our inability to do against Bristol City, what West Ham almost managed to do tonight, will cost us another season in this damned second tier of football, and consequently may cost us all the quality from our squad for next season.

Or we may look back on points stolen at Leeds and say that was when we knew we were going up !!.

Thank you Watford for not letting West Ham win and for helping Saints out when we did spank you earlier 3-0 at your place and something along the lines at St Marys!

It also makes our draw last night not bad as well so will take that!

COYR!!! :D

You're right of course. Usually I do my best to ignore it but occasionally it just becomes ridiculous. There's so much bickering on this forum, the like of which I've never seen on any other team's site, and I think Alpine is responsible for starting most of it!

It's has already, the FL are giving them £800k to keep them going until the end of the season.

There you go.

Cant have the good name and image of the Football League and FA besmirched and West Ham annoyed sufficiently to take us to court, can we ?

Really wonder what the hold West Ham has over the footballing authorities in this country, what with this and the Tevez/Mascherano affair.
