Colinjb Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Karma after Leeds? All is forgiven for me if we beat Barnsley.
Mr X Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Didnt do enough and left it too late.... noone can say a draw wasnt a fair result
Colinjb Posted 6 March, 2012 Author Posted 6 March, 2012 End of the world...? Not for me, we dropped points but had recovered our movement and 'style,' just a case of not having the final touch.
saints-cris Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Annoying to give it away that late, but 2 very winnable games coming up next.
Red and White Russ Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Ipswich are an in form team. Point isn't a disaster.
forever a red and white Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Very frustrated but we have to be realistic we won't every game. Barnsley game will now be massive. Also, **** off Reading, really want to open up a gap over them before we play them! Keep the Faith!
trousers Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 A draw against the team at the top of the form table. 7 points from 9. 10 points from 12 if we win on Saturday vs Barnsley. Promotion form. Perspective. Amen.
CB Fry Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 As long as we beat Barnsley, no problem. We can't win them all.
saint_jas Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Barnsley is now a must win game. Sounded like we did enough to win that, De Ridder to start on Saturday.
alpine_saint Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Not end of world, but looking tough now. Reading seem unstoppable, we may have to beat them to fend them off. Was expecting the other home games to be bankers. Very depressed, cant even get hysterical about it.
dune Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Please do not start with Guly again for the rest of the season.
Golden Balls Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Needed DeRidder to start NOT Guly! Please do not start with Guly again for the rest of the season.
Red Alert Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 As long as we beat Barnsley, no problem. We can't win them all. Exactly, win on Saturday and we can be happy enough with 4 points from this week, anything else and it will be a big problem imo.
AndyD Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Well - if Reading don't beat Leicester on Saturday and we beat Barnsley on Saturday - I will sleep easier than tonight. Be positive - 2nd is still in our hands and we have t play READING at HOME next month. Said it before, chill.
Tom8558 Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 a draw means you can actually improve in the training ground whereas a 4 0 win doesn't say anything. although a win would be nice, it means a lot of work in the training ground which will be good.

Perspective. Amen. Sounds great when you pretend our p*ss-poor form of the previous 2 months didnt exist....
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Disappointed but was only expecting a draw on Sat so evened out there. Need a win on Sat to make it a good week still IMO. Still in our hands with Reading to come to SMS.
Ex Ringwood Saint Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Dissapointed more in the fact we led and failed to shut it out..as most have said you would of taken four points from six over the last two games ..but the manor of letting ipswich back in, and losing that clean sheet run is a tad annoying...
trousers Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Corner to Pompey. 4 mins left. Reading keeper catches the cross - first thing he's had to do all evening!
Jonnyboy Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Needed DeRidder to start NOT Guly! And lose 2-1? No thanks
DG Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Frustrating but we were never going to win every game and sail off into the distance. Hopefully some other teams results will falter as they play each other and we keep picking up points.

You're right. I'm glad we didn't win 4-0 Odd post
alpine_saint Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Teams mentioned as unstoppable on this forum so far - West Ham Cardiff Reading Birmingham Blackpool People have heard of form haven't they? A question, for anyone - if Saints won 7 in a row, would you just assume it would carry on? If not, why assume it with Reading? Look at the form table. Reading really are unstoppable, the rest are false pretenders. Btw, our winning streak at the end of last season / beginning of this season went on for a lot longer than 7 games. The results against Bristol City and Doncaster are really going to hurt us....
forever a red and white Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Can we also get off the Guly is **** bandwagon
Jonnyboy Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Sounds great when you pretend our p*ss-poor form of the previous 2 months didnt exist.... Just been pointed out that we are currently in our longest unbeaten run of the whole season now (8 games).
Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 I reckon another 16-18 points will see us up.

As a great man once said Apart from yourself, we're all quite positive round here. I'm going to whack you over the head with a big stick, down negative man, down.
alpine_saint Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Can we also get off the Guly is **** bandwagon Yep, pathetic scapegoating, and makes our fanbase out to be a bunch of racist bell-ends.
Liquidshokk Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Table looks a bit different if you picture the two wins in hand for wham (we know they'll win em' don't we) :-S
patred44 Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 no matter what spin is put on it, that was 2 POINTS DROPPED
Golden Balls Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Can we also get off the Guly is **** bandwagon Exactly. He is far from ****. He just doesn't run around aimlessly
DG Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Aye the games in hand will be key, i believe Reading are away to Doncaster though?
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Disappointing to draw a game at home from a winning position. But overall still happy with where we're going. If one of the first half chances had gone in, I imagine it may have been a comfortable victory but not to worry. We stole 3pts at the weekend and we've got a 1pt from a home game a few days later. We must beat Barnsley now, but I don't think there is anything to panic about. We can't get too anxious about the situation, just continue to maintain our current form and push on.
Dr Who? Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Right bring on Barnsley, need to win, and hope others slip up.
dune Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 1 minute left at Reading That commentator. You can just imagine him asking his daughters boyfriend if he prefers vagina or tittys.
paris Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Top of the league 2 points clear of WHU ......wasn't long ago i was thinking we could go out of business completely....
badgerx16 Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Table looks a bit different if you picture the two wins in hand for wham (we know they'll win em' don't we) :-S But then take off the 6 they lose when Poopey go pop
Legod Third Coming Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Bugger - can't win them all but win the next two and the world will be a happier place.
alpine_saint Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 As a great man once said As the table stands, if we slip to 3rd we would have to win a double-header against Birmingham. Dont know about you, but I dont fancy that much (even though I would fancy us for a PO final) If we go out over 2 legs like we did against Derby, the two BC and Donny away match will be the ones we all look back at.
del boy Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Surprisingly calm and realistic reactions on here - not what we've come to expect
The Kraken Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 Yep, pathetic scapegoating, and makes our fanbase out to be a bunch of racist bell-ends. How have you even got a clue it is racist from even one of them, let alone all of them?
Avenue Saint Posted 6 March, 2012 Posted 6 March, 2012 De ridder changed game. Guly and Hammond dreadful.
