It's nice that he's happy to stay with us, but I can't help but think his career would be best suited away from St. Mary's. Surely he was at the club before Bart, even if he wasn't in first team contention.

A problem caused by the demise of the old Football Combination. Back then, the reserves played every week so all players got a lot of match practice.

well then they should say that then shouldn't they. Lallana is the club's longest serving active player. The OS is crap although it must be said in their defence that they've improved the delivery of their wrong facts since last summer when the articles were obviously written by a 2 year old.

No, the 'development squad' just play friendlies now. Hopefully if we do go up we'll start playing in the Premiership Reserve league and give our fringe players the match practice they need.
