JohnnyFartPants Posted 6 November, 2008 Share Posted 6 November, 2008 Champion food. Ive been having this for the last 2 weeks for breakfast, and I have to say I havent felt better in my life. Here endeth my post. I have to agree with that. I have fallen off the porridge bandwagon of late, but when I was having it I too felt very well. It improved my health quite a lot. Master Bates Posted 6 November, 2008 Share Posted 6 November, 2008 Normally chocolate porridge. Also, it's nice to throw in 2 squares of dairy milk.

Master Bates Posted 6 November, 2008 Share Posted 6 November, 2008 Weetabix with hot milk are better imho. No wai! soaks up all the milk and you're left with a type of gluey/cement mix.

Master Bates Posted 6 November, 2008 Share Posted 6 November, 2008 Yeah, like porridge then. But no, porridge is nice and runnyish (depending on how you prefer it, lumpy or runny like diarrhea), where as weetabix is like a paste.

Saint Martini Posted 6 November, 2008 Share Posted 6 November, 2008 I like rice porridge but only as a breakfast. The strange thing is that people eat it as dinner here in Sweden.

They have rice porridge, basically rice pudding or risgrøt here on special occasions. Woohoo, party food! I've been looking for something non-syrupy or sugary to put on my kids' porridge, anyone know anything vaguely healthy that goes well?

Dorset Cereals do a lovely version with berries but I bet you can't get it in Norway.
