SNSUN Posted 4 March, 2012 Share Posted 4 March, 2012 So who do we want to win this? A West Ham victory would basically erradicate Cardiff's chances of catching up to the auto spots, but a Cardiff victory would safely keep us top of the league irrespective of West Ham's other game in hand. For me, a draw would be our best scenario - even if West Ham win their game in hand we'd be top on goal difference - but if any team has to win, I hope it's Cardiff, with multiple sendings off for West Ham. (Head says West Ham will win this one though, Cardiff will be deflated after last week and their recent form is poor.)
trousers Posted 4 March, 2012 Share Posted 4 March, 2012 Head: the gap between 2nd and 3rd spot is the most important factor to secure promotion Heart: the gap between 1st and 2nd is the most important because I want to go up as champions. Head wins every time for me. So, if we think West Ham are more likely to finish 2nd than 3rd, a West Ham win please. However, if we think Reading are more likely to finish 2nd then a Cardiff win please. How's that for fence sitting?!
Colinjb Posted 4 March, 2012 Share Posted 4 March, 2012 I cannot see Cardiff sustaining a push for automatic promotion and Reading are in form. Therefore damage West Ham as much as possible, a crushing Cardiff win for me please.
