interest rates cut by 1.5%

I'm gutted that the BOE has cut rates. I'm responsible with my money and owe nothing and have savings and an AVC linked to the BOE base rate. This move will cost me.:mad:

 

Exactly. The government are just shafting all the people who have worked and have savings. So many pensioners are going to be out of pocket just because the banks were lending out money to every tom **** and harry....

are you actually losing money that you have put in or not getting as much extra in interest..?

Me.... I have a mortgage, so i save money. But all this interest rate cut does is fuel the boom and bust cycle that we currently in!
