I've been Schneiderlin's biggest critic but he has really got his game together and has been the difference in our recent run.

He has always had talent but now he's starting to read the game much better, he's no longer a show-poney, but a proper team player and sublime passer.

Well done Spiderman...Always had the talent and the skill......

Most improved team player in the side.....Tackling, covering and positioning have helped to a great team effort...

Much credit goes to..... my good self, for giving him a big kick up his backside, after taking over his coaching , from those two boyzzz blouses... :p Window cleaner and Avenue Saint:rolleyes:

(You talk a good game boyzzz but he needed a real first class coach:)

Keep it going Morgan......;)

He has been top class for us again this season. One of a few in the current bunch that I honestly believe could go all the way with us towards the top of the Premier League if our dreams become reality.

I really think he could turn into a great player.

Tonight he was excellent, and he was our midfield in the first half.

His game has come on so much and he is such a classly elegant midfield player now - with the addeded strength and tenacity to make him a real hit in the english game.

I would not be suprised if some big clubs start looking at him, I think he's that good.

Great player, needs a song.

(To the tune of "Spiderman")

Schneiderlin! Schneiderlin! We've got Morgan Schneiderlin!

Schneiderlin! Schneiderlin! We've got Morgan Schneiderlin!

Look out! Look out! Here comes the Schneiderlin!

So bloody simple even our collective dumbasses should manage it! :p

Was the only midfielder to come out of the first half with any credit really.

Been impressed with him all season really, Championship suits him, Prem would even more IMO

Would have to disagree and give Chaplow a massive pat on the back.

Only recently back from a long lay off - his workrate was immense and towards the end was often the most forward player on our breakaways.

Threesixty referred to first half. Chaplow was absolutely awful first half. Was much better in the 2nd. Just because Chappers runs around a lot does not always make him good. If he had used his brain a bit more early on andslowed it down it would have helped. Morgan was immense yesterday again, some people will probably not agree, likely the same ones who used to think Oakley was crap.

I have often thought that when Morgan is on his game he sets the tempo for the team, a bit like Oakley under WGS, not a superstar in the spotlight performance just a solid hub in midfield.

He also seems to have curbed his desire to react to the niggling he gets from the opposition, but his tackling has become much more precise and still just as hard......... Almost like Hammond with finesse in that department.

When Cork came in last summer with such high expectations, it did look as if Morgan was slipping to 3rd choice in MF, especially as it was hard to see Hammond as team captain and with his commitment, being left out. Cork is well worth his place in the side but maybe he hasn't quite reached the heights expected of an u-21 international. I'd certainly see Schneiderlin as our No.1 in CMF and every prospect of him having an impact in the Prem. Having Cork and Hammond, as well as Chaplow, fighting it out for a midfield spot is a good example of of how well this squad has been put together.

People who think Morgan isn't an important player is a short sighted football fan. Players don't always have to be eye catching to be a vital player in the team. Breaking up the play, keeping the ball and playing it simple is just an important. Lallana and Lambert do the rest.

Premier league clubs have been sniffing around him for years, there must be a reason for that!

Morgan had a very good game against Leeds but nothing has really changed. For overall performances this season Cork is out in front with Morgan and Hammond that little bit further back. I have seen this replayed so many times now that it is nigh on nailed on. We get the call that Morgan must start the next game, or Hammond / Cork after a good performance, only for that performance to miss the mark in muted silence.

Our two central midfielders have to rotate their appearances, otherwise they will fall short of the mark as we have seen regularly. This is not a slight on any of them, just the nature of our style of play and what we are asking them to do. So if Morgan does not start the next game or comes off early, that still makes sense from everything that has gone before. Bring Hammond in for Cork on Tuesday, subbing Morgan with Cork at half time so we have fresh legs for both Tuesday and the following Saturday.

Top post, glad he has been recognised for putting an honest quality shift. I believe he could b our most important player for the remaining away matches. My reason for this is that his ball retention is critical especially when we are under the cosh and looking to close out a win. A player who you can give the ball to when all else round you is falling down in priceleess. Morgan also puts out lot of fires un-noticed with his covering for out attacking options. Well done Morgan you deserve all his praise.
