Katalinic Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 The best individual performance I have seen by a Saints keeper. Shilton was consistently excellent, Niemi made word class saves but Kelvin's performance was the football equivalent of the film Zulu.

for_heaven's_Saint Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 Absolutely brilliant. If we go up we will look back at that performance like we looked at Forte's 2 goals against MK Dons last season. Loved seeing Lambert so happy with him in their post-match interview. If we get promoted I hope he's the first to be congratulated, for his loyalty and today's performance.
Ric Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 Utterly, utterly brilliant performance. The rest of the team's reaction at the final whistle said it all. Magnificent!
DT Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 I'm going to pipe up here as one of KD's biggest critics. He was very good today. If I was hugely nitpicking I'd say his 'worldy' was partly as a result of not coming for the cross very well but that really is to undermine a very characterful performance, full of brilliant shot-stopping. Credit where it's due. Now to work on not passing to the oppo all game.

eelpie Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 Outstandingly gobsmackingly brilliant!!!!!! When he first came here, and after a few mistakes, the word kelvin was not one to speak in gentle company. What a transformation, week on week, and especially since he turned Premiership footie down for Saints. I want SFC to issue a video of Kelv's greatest saves- and with slow motion highlights. His best performances are ranking with Le Tiss's best imho. Put his face on the top, mods!
ART Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 An amazing performance and won the game for us. Rickie, like some many couldn't hold back his feelings for Kev as they came off the pitch. Incredibly fast reactions and movement.
SAFE_SAINT Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 Best save Ive ever seen made by SKD was at Hillsborough- league 1, when Lee Barnard scored the winner 0-1. The last kick from I think Clnton Morrison- couldn't believe he tipped it around the post! But what a performance tonight!

BJBSAINTS Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 As a former keeper myself that was was unbelievably good from skd. Monk Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 When he joined, I was livid. I did not rate KD at all. All I can say is, he is one of my favourite goalkeepers ever. The passion he has shown Saints is just worldy. I think we need to honour this bloke.
