suewhistle Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 The chasing down toward the end was great, and although Chaplow didn't have the best of games he was going until the last minute. That run off the ball and shot right at the end just summed up his and the team's spirit.

gaz Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 Adkins: Top class goalkeeper, unbeliveable saves, whole team put their line bodies on the line All over the place in the 1st half, pulled it back for the goal, organised ourselves better for the 2nd half Grinded out the result 6 clean sheets in 9, know we can score, great 3 points against a good Leeds side Preparation was wrong, looked shattered in the 1st half Dug in and ground the result out when things werent going well. S-Clarke Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 I can't quite believe we won that. First half we were shambolic and clueless, yet somehow went in 1-0 up. 2nd half we still weren't' great but had more shape to us, as Puncheon was just all over the show in the first half. Kelvin Davis - take a bow. Unreal performance. As that 2nd half went on though you could see the resolve and spirit of this group come to the fore. These guys have been to Wembley and won, they've been prooted the season before. Winning is in their blood, and you can tell how hungry they all are for it. This performance and result reminds me of when we played Reading at home, 5 or 6 years ago. We totally and utterly battered them but they stood firm and didn't conceed - they won the league that year, and seeing this sort of result out against the odds fills everyone with belief. A truly momentous result and other teams will look at that and just wonder what they will have to do.

beatlesaint Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 I was gonna say I'm not sure how we won that but I think I am. We won cos our keeper was magnificent, we were clynical with the one clear opening we had, and as a team we threw outselves in front of everything. Thought they all worked their backsides off.........and what a good decision by NA to take off Puncheon at half time who must be colour blind cos he never found a yellow shirt once. Well done lads :-)

Dog Posted 3 March, 2012 Share Posted 3 March, 2012 Biggest away game of the season today as the league stands and with Warnocks first game it was a massive win.
