The taxman's taken all my dough

And left me in my old ****hole

Lazin' on a sat'day afternoon

I can't **** in a pot

He's taken everythin' I've got

All I've got's this sat'day afternoon.

Save me, save me, save me from BC

I've got the Russian Mafia tryin' a break me

And I love to live so pleasantly

Live this life of luxury

Lazin' on a sat'day afternoon.

In the autumn time.

In the autumn time.

In the autumn time.

The admin's run off with our car

And Chanrai's milked us from afar,

Lawrence charged with drunkeness and cruilty

Now I'm sitting here

Sipping at insepid beer

Lazin' on a sat'day afternoon

Help me, help me, help me sail away

Well give me two good reasons, why I oughta stay

Coz I love to live so pleasantly

Live this life of luxury

Lazin' on a sat'day afternoon

In the autumn time

In the autumn time

In the autumn time

I've always felt that Bob Dylan's 'Like a Rolling Stone' was the perfect tune for Pompey (quite apart from being one of the greatest pop songs ever written). It drips contempt and disdain from every word and phrase - in fact, if it hadn't been written the best part of fifty years ago it could almost have been written just for them!

Ok - how do get the whole thing instead of just the URL onto here?

Remember you are dealing with a techy feckwit!!

If you do a reply with quote to someone else's you'll see what happens - you'll get text like this (I've replaced the square brackets with quotation marks):

"QUOTE=Dark Munster;1290300" "video=youtube;Ms-NM1Hoiaw"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ms-NM1Hoiaw&feature=player_detailpage

All of the formatting information is held within the square brakets [] and will have a starting command (QUOTE or video in this case) and will have an ending command (/quote and /video in this case).

If you delete the starting quote and ending quote commands the text looks like this;

"video=youtube;Ms-NM1Hoiaw"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ms-NM1Hoiaw&feature=player_detailpage

Then, if you are putting up a you tube link, you can copy the URL (the web page as it appears in your internet browsers when you are watching the you tube video).

The video command needs to be altered as well to point youtube at the relevant video.

In you tube's world that video is referenced as 04zwhjRiCbo. You will see that the URL can be a straight copy and paste, but you would still need to edit the first video= command.

So, in the Simply Red video you were trying to post, it would look like this

"video=youtube;04zwhjRiCbo"

"

Once you replace the quotation marks (with square brackets) that I have left here to show you, the video will appear like this.

Sur someone can adapt the lyrics:

Now look at them yo-yo's that's the way you do it

You play the guitar on the MTV

That ain't workin' that's the way you do it

Money for nothin' and chicks for free

Now that ain't workin' that's the way you do it

Lemme tell ya them guys ain't dumb

Maybe get a blister on your little finger

Maybe get a blister on your thumb

And should Brighton ever find themselves in sh!t street (dire straights even) again there is a verse n the song about faggots.

If you do a reply with quote to someone else's etc

Or he could do what I do and click on the insert video tab (along the toolbar with insert image, bold, italic etc) in the go advanced posting page and copy and paste the url into that.
