jose mourinho..?

Guardiola...?

Why has to be english? For all that brilliant passion that wins each game?

Mourinho would be unbelievable. Guardiola would be weird. He has no english experience, that's what I find odd about the foreign selections. Foreign doesn't matter, but unable to speak perfect english and no experience of english football matters A LOT. Plus I'm still unsure how Guardiola will get on in his next job. Great success at Barca, I'm sure he's played his part, but he's been involved at various levels for ages, he's not been about short term results. Clubs looking at him thinking it'll be instant trophies and success are crazy. That said, no doubt Abramovic will try to recruit him next!

there are doubts whether he would succeed anything like he does at barca if say at another top european club.

his record in the transfer market is not the best

he inherited a team that had already recently won the european cup, players like Messi, Iniesta, xavi etc etc were all there...he just had to make them play

im not saying he is a dud or anything...just he had a very good hand dealt to him.

Mourinho would be amazing.

Don't really know why but I think it won't be Harry. He'll blame his health or something, and we'll end up with the "dream team" of Pearce and Hodgson, hyped up with a load of old ******** about Pearce being groomed to take over in four years time, effectively giving us two shi te England managers for the price of one, and locking down a good six years of soul destroying mediocrity.

And to be fair I quite like Hodgson but he will get a rough old ride and he won't get us anywhere other than stuttering into the second round and then back on the plane.

And one last point - I don't think anyone can do any better than that anyway, except possibly Mourinho.

Jose would be my choice, hands down. The guy is loved in this country, so the fact he's not English doesn't matter, and he has mad management skills. He's far and away the best option available, and if he's considering leaving Real in the summer for England anyway, what better job than the England manager's spot.

It won't be of course, we'll end up with old wobbly chops and his shaky face routine when we go 3-0 down to Azerbajan with a team of James, Johnson, Dawson, King, Pearce, Lennon, Carrick, Lampard, Cole, Defoe, Crouch. :-) (I couldn't think of an English left back that Harry has managed, so I bet on old Stu to dust off his boots.)

Has to be English.

Definitely don't want 'Arry.

I'd go for Pardew.

Pardew? Didn't you read the stuff on here when he was with us about how clueless he is? No Plan B, cant break teams down that come to defend, long ball team etc etc. It's all coming home to roost and he's being found out at Newcastle.
