Window Cleaner Posted 6 March, 2012 Share Posted 6 March, 2012 There is a good pub outside London bridge station that was full of Saints fans for the FA cup tie. its only a 2 min walk from London bridge. Think its on Brough high street road. The something and banker rings a bell Barrowboy and Banker
Saint-Armstrong Posted 6 March, 2012 Share Posted 6 March, 2012 Thought I'd give this thread a bump. 1,000 more tickets given to Saints by Millwall: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2635283,00.html

saints-cris Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 any one know if extra tickets are upper or lower tier? I got mine yesterday (general sale). Got them in the post today and I'm in the upper. Gutted!
gingerone Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 Almost certainly lower, the whole end combined holds about 4000 All the tickets are for the upper tier. Bought 4 and asked if upper or lower and was told all tickets are upper.
This Charming Man Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 All the tickets are for the upper tier. Bought 4 and asked if upper or lower and was told all tickets are upper. Surely the upper tier doesn't hold 3,000?
WHITEE1987 Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 Thanks for all the info mate, thinking of going after the game, any idea closest tube station ? Liverpool street then either get a taxi for about £6 or 15-20 min walk.
Sour Mash Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 Liverpool street then either get a taxi for about £6 or 15-20 min walk. Nearest Station is Shoreditch Overground, which is as good as a tube. Quickest way of getting over that way after going to 'Wall.

What do you mean "all tickets were upper"? All the tickets you bought or all the the tickets that we will have on sale?
This Charming Man Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 Liverpool street then either get a taxi for about £6 or 15-20 min walk. You can walk from Liverpool St to The Den in 15 minutes? That's highly impressive...
JRM Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 Surely the upper tier doesn't hold 3,000? yeah no way, the upper tier is about 2.5k , maybe we've got another 750 dispersed around the ground in little pockets to surprise the Millwall fans with when we score

gingerone Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 Can you just clarify? What do you mean "all tickets were upper"? All the tickets you bought or all the the tickets that we will have on sale? I asked the guy about the extra tickets and I asked if the ones I had bought were for upper or lower. He just said all the tickets that we have are for the upper tier. That's exactly what he said. Just being a messenger. Maybe he is wrong but they are his words exactly.
Sour Mash Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 Maybe we've been sent the lower tier allocation, but are still shifting a fair few of the original allocation for the upper.
gingerone Posted 8 March, 2012 Share Posted 8 March, 2012 You are probably right. I suppose if we don't sell the 2000 then the lower ones go back.

stevegrant Posted 9 March, 2012 Share Posted 9 March, 2012 Whats the issue with which tier the tickets are in? Is one preferential over the other? Novelty concept, I think. We've played at The (New) Den 6 times (as far as I can tell - 2 FA Cup, 2 Championship, 1 League One, 1 pre-season friendly), and not once has the lower tier been open.
