1) Liverpool TTANO - Cardiff demoralised?

2) Cardiff win - buoyed up or become overly confident?

3) Extra time?

It goes without saying that a couple of injuries and multiple sendings off would be helpful, but what about the result.

C'mon armchair psycho(s)-logists, what do you think?

I'd say a Cardiff win if history is anything to go by. Brum collapsed after winning last years competition and Cardiff have been inconsistent at best since reaching the final.

Plus it's a chance to laugh at some Scousers, although the candle lit vigils might be a bit annoying after.

We've played our games against Cardiff so anything that keeps them in form for the run in against the other teams around us.

Wouldn't mind them to win just for a cup upset, always liking one of those (almost) regardless of the team involved.

IMO, a Cardiff win would be the best result for us. There would surely be a sense of 'job done' for their players, which would be hard to shake off and re-motivate themselves for the final push for auto promotion.

Wishful thinking though!

christ knows how this is 2-2

liverpool have had 40 chances and 17 corners...

Probably because liverpool are utter tosh IMO.

Lots of play, but little punch.

Come on Cardiff, I can't stand Liverpool fans. Bunch of arrogant tossers who believe it is their divine right to win everything. Whilst Utd fans are the same the only difference is they actually win silverware.

This one!

For us, I agree. Broken hearted, shattered, tired, demoralised. I actually feel sorry for them - they did so well to pull it back to 2-2 when most of the team couldn't even walk.

The result doesn't matter now - their players are knackered. Shame we haven't got them next.

They have a whole week until they play West Ham. I'm sure they'll recover.

Just watched this game with Ms pap. Liverpool's victory was the best thing for Saints. Cardiff looked heartbroken by the end. Better still, the silverware has sent Mad King Kenny's stock soaring. Far less chance of him getting the boot now, so far less chance of them coming in for Nige.

I don't think it's an immediate possibility. However, if Nige continues the good work with Saints into the Prem then he is going to attract some major attention. And of the big clubs, I think it is Liverpool that'd hold the most interest for him. This cup success will keep Kenny in the Liverpool job well into next season.

Very impressed with Cardiff's performance, and thought they deserved to win. I was thinking best for us would be that Cardiff would be knackered and demoralised. But now I hope that they can recover in time to thrash Wham. Or draw.

Impossible to gauge how Cardiff's result would change with a win or loss.

Surely we all want a Cardiff win because they're the underdogs and they aren't Liverpool?

I wanted Liverpool to win as I know a few Liverpool fans, and they are not a welsh team who play in the English league. I would normally support the underdog, but it has to be an English team over a welsh one.

Pretty much no chance in any of our lifetimes, unless Liverpool go into administration. Roy Hodgson got slaughtered by scousers for being "small-time" and he'd managed Inter frigging Milan.
