Should Yago Falque go back to Spurs?

What do you think?

It seems unlikely that he's gonna play much between now and the end of the season, and Redknapp is hardly likely to be happy that he's not even making the 16 every week. I'm happy to have him in the squad, but I think the lad himself might owe to himself to think about heading back. I doubt he would have been signed had we known how the Punch situation was going to pan out.

hmmmm...a spanish U21 player from Juventus who has not long been signed by spurs waiting in back up......

yes, lets get rid

ffs I clearly said that I'd prefer to keep him in the squad. I just wonder if it's the best thing for him personally. He's been sent here to get used to English football, so far he's only had about an hour!

Every one of your posts seems to be sarcastic and intended to make others look stupid, it was just a question for discussion.

If he really is as good as people say, he will be useful to have around the training ground if nothing else. If he then has a chance to play for us, it's another hopefully decent option to have.

My only concern is introducing new players into the team and into our playing style at this stage in the season.

He's not a teenager, nor is he an Academy-age novice. Spurs aren't so daft as to buy him from Juventus without some forethought, he must have qualities

and having been here nearly two m onths surely understands which way we are kicking, and what would be required of him, in the event of .......

I have one concern....22 years old and he has only played 1 first team league game and that was for us. Apart from 3 cup games for Spurs all other games have been reserve or academy

He may have skill but he failed to demonstrate any impact at SMS. He looked comfortable on the ball but nothing flowed from it. He has a reputation of skill but easily knocked off the ball.

I think Spurs let him come here to toughen him up in Championship football but we cannot afford the luxury of playing him. He is way down the pecking order but he is here until the end of the season. I am assuming Spurs are paying him but that we have agreed a loan fee.

I think he has to complete the first month on loan then is able to return. Never mind the one poor match, there has been a month of assessment in training and there is no sign that he has overtaken, Guly or DeRidder who aren't in the frame at the moment. This week we have Lee out, Lallana doubtful, Lambert a question mark, if he doesn't get a mention It will probably mean that he isn't required. As far as I'm concerned I'd keep him until the end of the season.

This week we have Lee out

Why? Japan play Uzbekistan on Wednesday. He can be back for Saturday. Also not sure what Lee and Lambert's availability have to do with Falque who is a midfielder.

If Lallana is out then I guess he could be a better option than Puncheon on the left. Anyway I thought he was injured, or at least has been. He did look lightweight when he made his debut, got knocked off the ball to easily, but clearly has great skill.

Doesn't take much for us to need him. Couple of injuries. He's clearly talented, and I'd love him to get a game to shut up the idiots judging him on 50 minutes in our worst team performance of the season.

Just don't think we'd anticipated puncheon being back. He, Lallana, Chaplow, Guly and SDR make for some immense competition. I'd more disappointed SDR isn't getting on the bench.

So this ^

In one respect you seem to make the same mistake as the club made when bringing Tommy Forecast here from Spurs. You could imagine that Spurs saw something in him as well, but you'll need a lot of imagination. Just like us they have had a lot of mediocre talent at times.

Apart from his game at SMS, who has actually seen him play before we arrived here? Did he set the world alight? Was he amazing?

I keep sticking my neck out about this chap because I am very suspicious about 22 year olds who haven't managed to establish themself to play for any first team they have signed for.

What is this footballfriendsonline...this was where the Lambert to WHU was reported. Someone looking for hits on their website ?

Says there in solidarity to some charity in Kenya. This sounds to me like those Nigerian "Hello dar" emails one gets. Reckon it's some London club supports trying to get a rise out of us. Check out the Home page and see the other articles posted.

It depends on how much we're paying, how well he is fitting in to the team's playing style in training and how many positions in midfield he can cover. If we picked up a couple of injuries, then he could be a useful player to have. His presence may be improving other players' performances as an additional competitor for a place.

If he's not too expensive and he clearly isn't being treated preferentially, I can't see the problem with him being here.

There is nothing in this article that actually suggests journalism or journalistic standards. What are their sources? Who has said this? All they did was write one line (Saints are hoping to keep the player) and the rest of that is background.

If anyone believes this then I have some beautiful waterfront land to sell you.

I repeat: Has anybody actually seen this bloke play apart from his appearance at SMS?

It is something about this loan which doesn't sit right for me and makes me worried. Is there a possible other deal in it if we're not going up, for instance? Like one of our players joining Spurs and we're keeping Falque? All my concerns about him is still there.
