Is it starting to take over your life yet?

All this promotion push stuff? The first clue was when I was waiting for the full time whistle at Hull, a game that in all probability won't affect whether we go up or not, with clenched fists. The second was when I went to bed smugly thinking of the last day fixtures when we're at home to Coventry, and Birmingham and Reading play each other, only to wake bolt upright at three in the morning realising "One of them will probably still have a chance of automatic whilst the other will know they are in the play-offs and play their reserves - it's the best fixture of all! What was I thinking?!! Oh my God...."

And i've still got three months of this....

It's well and truly taken over my life. The day after every fixture, I can't wait till the next one.

The mrs isn't happy. I work in Warwick from Monday-Friday and have been since January last year, I come home for a few hours then it's up early on a Saturday morning to get to either SMS or whoever we're playing away from home, then come home sometime between late on a Saturday night and some point on a Sunday morning. I get the "we never have any time to ourselves" all the time.

She's just sidestepping the inevitable blowjob she feels duty-bound to give you after a week away from home. Dont worry about it. ;)

Let's put it this way, after listening to the game on Saints Player each Saturday, I immediately check the scores for the 6 or 7 teams below us and quickly work out the points difference between us the other top 8 teams.

Also starting to study the run-in for us and the other top teams.

Oh, and I'm not convinced by Merrington's bold assertions that we are definitely going up. Many long weeks ahead of us yet!

Been doing it for 50 years now one way or another I just take it as part of life as there is nothing I can do that will change the outcome.

When we had our bad spell I starting getting my life back on track thinking we are not going this season, then good results versus Brum, Hammers, Burnley & Derby has got me all worried again.

IMHO it's going to be much worse in the premiership so enjoy it while you can.
