Hassled on my Mobile Phone

Hi Guys,

Been getting texts and calls from unrecognised numbers for a while now, number for the caller normally starting in '084' or '011' the texts generally seem to come from 07 numbers though.

They're all about loans, insurance and claims, and I even get called a couple of times a day. It is really annoying me now and I can't seem to find a solution.

Here is some examples of recent messages: (no spelling, grammar errors changed)

"Hi vicki, Our minimum loan amount is £1500, you can take over 12-96 months, No Guarantor required, Instant online payout. http://www.securethatloan.com To-opt out repl."

"Vicki does payday seem like it will never arrive? Upto £750 in your bank in hour, Bad credit ok. http://www.thebillpayer.uk.com . Reply STOP YES to optout"

"All Loan applications Accepted! Get the money you need now. Apply online now at http://www.supa-loans.co.uk To opt out txt stop"

I am not Vicki! Nor do I know of a Vicki. I'm fairly sure this is automated nonsense, but it's being going on for 4 weeks at least. I get 2 texts a day for the past week and 4 phone calls a week.

Anyone have any help to offer?

Have you replied to any of the messages? If so, that's why you're getting loads.

Scammers send messages out to completely random numbers, hoping to get a reply, which gives them the knowledge that it's an active number. They then sell that number on to other scammers.

No. I read online that I should forward to a spam report service, and all I have ever done is forward the messages to the number given by my service provider.
