St Chalet Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Jordan Sibley @jordansibley Rotherham United beat Pompey to Community Club of the Year. Presuming that Rotherham sneaked home due to them not defrauding charities?
SaintAndy14 Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 How do Pompey even come close to winning Community Club of the Year? They rip off the local community and take money from charities yet all that seems to have been overlooked again!
SuperMikey Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 How do Pompey even come close to winning Community Club of the Year? They rip off the local community and take money from charities yet all that seems to have been overlooked again! Probably because they give local schools sh!tloads of free tickets to their games in order to boost their p!ss poor attendances...
Under Weststand Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Jordan Sibley @jordansibley Rotherham United beat Pompey to Community Club of the Year. Some sense at last, maybe they could have won biggest rip of merchants of the season, community fraudsters of the year. But to be fair to them they have united one community! This one we all hate the DFSCB!
Lazlo78 Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Wilfried Zaha Young Player of the Year Great player, sh*t attitude...
krissyboy31 Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Wilfried Zaha Young Player of the YearThe same Zaha who has almost as many red cards against his name as career goals?
Lazlo78 Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Jordan Sibley @jordansibley League Two Player of the Year award goes to Swindon's Matt Ritchie. Bet they wish they had Ritchie and Pack now instead of their squad of overpaid mercenaries...
CWD Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Jordan Sibley @jordansibley League Two Player of the Year award goes to Swindon's Matt Ritchie. Bet they wish they had Ritchie and Pack now instead of their squad of overpaid mercenaries... I don't know Matt personally but our respective Grandparents moved down from Scotland together and were great friends, and I've played golf in the past with his brother and Dad. Well chuffed for him, despite him being a skate at heart. Always good to see a fellow Gosport boy do well.
Lazlo78 Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Jordan Sibley @jordansibley League One Player of the Year award goes to Huddersfield's Jordan Rhodes. Championship award is up next. Effin goal machine...
Brizzie Saints Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 The #npower Player of the Year for #League1 is Jordan Rhodes #htafc #FLAwards2012 Oh the tension is killing me

Roger Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Lambert wins! Completely deserved. The best attacking player since le tissier.
latter day saint Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 well done Rickie ! easiest decision of the night i would have thought.
S-Clarke Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Can't believe anyone ever doubted if he could make the impact at this level! Those goals against Ipswich back in August will never be forgotten...and he never looked back. Awesome player and well deserved.
dubai_phil Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 now he should be picked for the Euros (or the Olympics) And...... back to the Golf
Lazlo78 Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Must be a bittersweet feeling for Bristol Rovers' fans... with him in the side they wouldn't be messing around in League Two...
corsacar saint Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Well deserved Rickie, congratulations.Hope the next 2 and a bit years [ or more ] are just as succesful for you.
Sour Mash Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Completely deserved. The best attacking player since le tissier. And he's a good, proper, down to earth lad to boot, makes it even better.
Saint-Reece Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2649581,00.html
Graffito Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Would have been pleased also for Lallana had he won but Lambert was absolutely the right winner of the award.
trousers Posted 11 March, 2012 Author Posted 11 March, 2012 Portsmouth News have just re-tweeted Jordan's post earlier...obviously trying to stir it up......in the words of Harry Hill......FIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHHTTTT!! @pn_neil_allen: RT @jordansibley: Pompey win Family Club of the Year. I chuckled too. If the irony isn't enough, they have 'bought' two tables at tonight's awards
shurlock Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 (edited) Typical scouser - hands in his ******* pockets. But only a minor blemish on a great, unassuming player for us Edited 11 March, 2012 by shurlock
dubai_phil Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Well done to Rickie BUT Take a bow the backroom team at Staplewood who got him into the shape he is in this Season When did we last have "A Player of The Year?"
VectisSaint Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Looks like a real glitzy event. Appears to be in a typical average corporate hotel room usually used for training courses or the like. Suppose they had to keep in cheap otherwise the Skates wouldn't have been able to afford their 2 tables. Well done RL, think Adkins should at least have been nominated for Manager award though. And Chung's goal probably came too late for the Goal of the Season award.
Under Weststand Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Well done Rickie well deserved, his goal scoring & all round play have been such a huge part of our success, take a bow that man & a huge round of applause.
trousers Posted 11 March, 2012 Author Posted 11 March, 2012 @jordansibley: No idea what quality of audio is like & may be a bit shaky in places, but here is Rickie's acceptance speech #saintsfc http://t.co/fQ2zbFRZ
Minty Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 Rickie's acceptance speech, via Jordan Sibley http://t.co/fQ2zbFRZ
VectisSaint Posted 11 March, 2012 Posted 11 March, 2012 When did we last have "A Player of The Year?" Bale was Young Player of the Year in 2007 Billy Sharp was League One Player of the Year in 2007 as well (I know, I know, he was at Scunny at the time)
