I had not considered a tomato based sauce!

 

Last week there was a guy at Eastleigh Market, he was selling all sorts of spicy condiments and he has a retail outlet in Lyndhurst. I tried his 'Devil's Blood' sauce which is chilli based. You won't need a lot of it he said. Well, I'm a fair connoisseur of chilli so I warily tried it. Booom! It was lovely and I knew so because I immediately started the hiccups (a well known reaction to chilli) so I asked what was in it.

 

'Double concentrate Naga' he replied.

 

I declined his offer of an 80ml bottle because £6.95 was a bit steep!

 

Naga would have done it! Did you know the Dorset Naga (just found a link) was recorded as a record breaker?) Check out the Times article...(if you're into chillis)

IMO this rumoured Far Eastern consortium sounds as if it might come from the Isle Of Wight rather than Asia, ths being a way of subterfuge. True, except I can't see Sundance ever resorting to an emoticon (about the only thing we've ever agreed on).

 

But the case for more cynicism seems unarguable. Look what happened with the last 'takeover' in the summer. Who could have imagined - aside from SOS, of course! - that Wilde, after all he's said and done, would ally himself with Lowe? Not even the most cynical of those on here foresaw that.

You're right, I've covered three angles of the triangle. What we're missing is the whole centre ground. Occasional posters who have a point to make, but don't want to be labled as a lovvie or a hater or a gibbering fool. We just end up with polarised views, and no rational understanding or reasoned debate. A slanging match. Ultimately tedious, as we allready know who is going to pop up and make a contribution on one side or the other, so it does become stale.

You're right in what you say about us being individuals but it's very difficult to debate with someone when they tend to patronise and treat you with disdain from the off. Unfortunately the Beast manages to do this with alarming regularity, which totally distracts from the possibility that he has valid points to make.
