  1. 1. Where will we finish 2012?

We will go up in second. West Ham, despite their irritating egotism, will go up first, and after the season we've had, we deserve to go up in second. Hopefully we continue to earn the right to do so. I'd love it if we finish first, but West Ham are annoyingly unbeatable.

Play-Offs are a possibility, but I think our team, nay our squad, is strong enough and talented enough to cope.

Saints to win the league. West Ham have a fair number of tough fixtures coming up, and I fancy them to drop at least four points on us. It will be close (not least because there are so many other teams that can't be discounted), so I think we might wrap it up on the penultimate day of the season - we're away to Boro, but West Ham are away to Leicester. West Ham will go into the match needing to win, but will fall short, handing the title to us (though I can see us actually losing the game).

I am, of course, utterly hopeless at this kind of thing, so my final prediction is that none of the above will be even close to what actually happens.

Voted champions. Its been an amazing and unreal season. Can't ever really remember enjoying a season more, not just winning games but the manner of the wins and the professionalism of the players and manager, quality throughout.

I also think we will do well in the Prem if we continue with our current ethic

My eyes still always automatically flick to the bottom of any league table when they are put up - too many years of habit to break.

Not really sure

The first three will be probably WH BRUM SFC and because of our away form I think we may finish third

Which will be a huge disappointment

That's pretty much how I feel.

It's a race between us,W.Ham and Brum.

W.Ham have points on us and Brum are going like a steam train. I think it will go to the end but my gut feeling is we'll trip up in enough away games to cost us 2nd.

Brum as champs, W.Ham 2nd and we'll go into the lottery.

Really hope I'm wrong.

I think we'll stay in the top 2. We're there on merit, we had a horrendous run and never once dropped out, and we seem to have found our form again. No reason why we can't get on a run similar to that of the first 15 games of the season.

I know it's a higher standard this season, but look back to the end of last season. We never bottled it or lost concentration when we needed it the most. You need something about you at any level to put a run like that together when the pressure is on.

For what it's worth....In the BBC Predictor I have Birmingham top on 85 points, West Ham second on 85 points, and Saints third on 81 points. I've voted for a loss in the play-offs. Saints away form is going to be the downfall I'm afraid. For me, a win this weekend at Watford is vital. I just can't see West Ham and Birmingham dropping too many points from now on.

Getting tighter by the day. This could be the closest finish to a league in donkeys, any of the top 4 right now will fancy their chances of winning it, any of the top 11 or 12 will fancy a play off place. There is always a club that has a late run, could be Leicester. Always a club that has a glitch, for that one my money would go on Cardiff or 'Boro. I voted play off losers and I hate myself for doing that.

West Ham are too strong I think - 2 wins and a draw when down to 10 men shows their resilience in my opinion. I hope I'm wrong. Saints are going to need at least 85 points to stand a chance, and that means only one thing - they've got to buck up the away form....and fast.

I used to think we might win the Championship and probably still would if Sharp hadn't missed that gift against West Ham.

Now I'm in the second camp but we'll need a bit more efficiency from our strikers on a constant basis. Not at all duped by the 4-0 win over Derby. The strike force is still mediocre.

Really? Check the players in the top scorers charts.

quite a remarkable opinion considering we are the top scorers in the league. still, we didnt beat hitler for no reason, we're all entitled to an opinion :)

Yes yes I know, we've scored a lot of goals but when it's really been necessary they've often been mute. We've Jos to thnk for all of our points against West Ham, took 2 CB goals from corners to get us in front against Derby and a few wins have been because we got penalties.
