Didn't see this posted elsewhere. Buy tickets to Barnsley and Ipswich and you get priority to Coventry. Taking this **** tbh

Looks like that 'Final 10' promotion died on its @rse (I blame Guly). Don't think too many are going to rush for this deal immediately either, but we'll see.

This sucks. Wanted to do Coventry but can't afford to do loads of games. Nightmare. It is rewarding those who can afford more games rather than those who want to be there most IMO. But I would say that wouldn't I.

Which means your less deserving than those that can/do want to do all of them.

I want to do them all, but if you know you can only do a couple, you tend to pick carefully, and I love end of season games. Hopefully will be plenty on general sale anyway.
If you're on the ball, you'll still get a ticket for the Cov game, surely you'd agree though, that fans that do the less glamorous games get first pick.of seats?

This is a great idea, should use it more often in my opinion.

Was going to go to Barnsley, but struggle to make midweek games so may not make Ipswich. Will defo do this even if I cant make Ipswich,£27 is worth paying to make the last game of the season. I'm not going to miss out on a potential celebration of promotion, just the the sake of £27

There are a lot of 'loyal' fans who get to every game they can. When travelling becomes an issue it is sometimes easier to get to an away game. Just because I cannot get to see every game at SMS does not mean that I'm not loyal. As can be seen on this forum there are a loyal fans from all areas of the country, and further afield.

This is a mess I bought bought Doncaster and Barnsley tickets from the mega store on Sat. Didnt have them put against my customer number. Can I ring them and get them alocated so it is recorded on their database?

If you take the tickets in with you I don't see what the problem will be.

Why didn't you get them put against your number, out of interest? They always ask for it when booking tickets so I don't see how anyone could forget.

I'm not sure I agree with you I'm afaid.

If I moved away from this area beacuse of work or to be nearer family etc, then I wouldn't attend as many home games and would have to give up my ST. That would be my personal choice to do that and as a result I wouldn't consdier myself as loyal a fan as someone who went to every game.

I would still consider myself to be a Saints fan, always will, but the mere fact that I moved away would make me less loyal straight away.

Depends how you define loyalty I suppose.

What a stupid, pointless post on so many levels.

Didn't come across like that in the original article, which seemed to suggest that it was both.

To be honest, it was defo both on the article. Maybe the bloke I spoke to messed it up (although somebody posted the same earlier in the thread). It's just come up on my history online with a booking ref, so 100% I only got Barnsley.

I can confirm it is Ipswich OR Barnsley. I just booked 1 ticket for Ipswich and 2 for Barnsley, I was then told I could book 2 for Coventry which is what I did. It may end up being a spare as my mate can't make the Coventry game.

I'm struggling to keep up with all this.

I'm buying 4 Ipswich tkts on Monday, can I order 4 Cov at the same time?

I really fancy the Pompey game: on the same day next week I will buy 4 Donny tkts (which I don't particularly want) and then I can phone in on Sunday x March and I will be able to buy Pompey tkts?

Why has something so apparently simple been made so devilishly complicated?

(Can anybody else see a situation where more Donny+Barnesly tkts are sold than P. tkts are available?).

PLAN B: Opens window now - if you buy a Donc or a Barn tkt this week you can buy a Pomp tkt with it. Anything left goes to ST + one. Anything left beyond this goes to general database sale.

Wouldn't that be better/fairer?

Got 4 for Barnsley and Coventry yesterday. no problems at all.

I think the article isn't written that well. May mate and I both thought you had to buy both games in order to get Coventry tickets.

I was going to Barnsley anyway so happy days! :)

Crikey it's not that hard really is it?

You can buy a Coventry ticket now if you buy it with (or already have ) an Ipswich or Barnsley ticket. If not you must wait till general sale.

You can buy a Pompey ticket from 11th March if you have purchsed (or do at the same time) a Doncastor ticket. Otherwise you have to wait until general sale.

So either buy the other ticket for the appropriate game or wait until general sale. The club at no time said that on March 24th when we play Doncastor they won't sell any more pompey tickets if it hasn't sold out!
