Pompey Ticket Details - game NOT televised

Could it be that the Ticket Office want to concentrate on selling (that days) match tickets & don't want that hindered by portsmouth/Donny sales?
I didn't have a look yesterday, but there are very rarely big queues for buying on the day for such games as Ipswich. We charge a couple of quid extra for tickets to put people off doing it. I don't mind paying some kind of admin charge for sending out tickets, but its the way they set up to deliberately make it harder/more expensive for out of town fans (of which we have many).

No, this will only be known one way or another once the Donny game is out of the way.

It's marvelous what our super hero chairman thinks of fans that don't live locally. We are treated a piece of sh/t on the bottom of his shoe. And not only that they are not even posting the tickets out, so if do get a twinned rip off ticket I can't even sell the donny ticket (at a discount) because the donny game is before the pompey game. F/ck all this jumping through hoops and getting treated like this by a club that doesn't value supporters in the slightest. He can ram his f/cking tickets up his arse.

I don't begrudge them trying to make money. It's pretty obvious they will sell Pompey tickets unlinked, but they're not going to say that beforehand and risk a detrimental affect on Donny sales.

I don't begrudge them making money, but I do begrudge how the little weasel treats fans that don't live locally. First it's the booking fee, and the extra to pay on the day, now they stitch us up by not posting out tickets. Like I say we are treated like sh/t.

Stitch you up? I guarantee you'd demand a replacement if you received an empty envelope in the post after some Skate working for Royal Mail nicked your ticket. You can pick them up on the day of the Donny game, or even the Pompey game. Just get there earlier.

i don't want to go to the Donny game, but i'd like to sell the ticket on for a few quid, but can't do that because I won't have the ticket. they stitch us non local fans up at every opportunity. People use to slag off Lowe, but at least he valued fans that weren't local. Cortese just see's us as mugs who he can rip off.

I live in london and think i'm treated fine, i have a season ticket & book my aways over the phone which they post out to me. On the one occasion i've not received one they put a spare on the gate for me (palace away in the cup).

Other than that i meet friends to pick tickets up and give them the cash.

With a little planning non of it is that hard and many use it as an excuse to moan or justify them staying away

And why don't you you get your aways at the ground, oh yeah they don't sell aways until the monday just so they can add on the booking fee. If you don't mind/can afford to be treated like a piece of sh/t good for you. Personally I don't like how i'm now treated and i've been going to games for years supporting the club. It isn't an excuse not to go, it's the reason I stopped going just like if a landlord takes the p/ss I stop drinking in his pub.

I live in London and do every game, but I think they do little to make it easy to buy tickets for games. The pettyness of putting tickets on sale after home games annoys me.

My other gripe with our ticketing is that I believe there are no duplicates available at all for the Skates or Cov home games, what an absolute joke and will mean a few Saints end up missing the game.

I've just rung them up again and if you want the doncaster tickets posting out as part of the twinned pompey/donny "offer" you have to pay two booking fee's. So 3 quid for posting out the donny tickets and another 3 quid for the pleasure of picking tickets up for the Pompey game.

Because i'm intrinsically lazy so phone is easier - plus i get more time in the pub pre game - also i tend to book (when it's my turn) four or five at once so a booking fee doesn't seem unreasonable considering they're posting them out to me.

you make it sound like they are being nice and treating you quite well when in fact SFC take the 5% commission they make on selling away tickets and then bang a £3 charge on top to make some more.

You've confused me...Why not wait until Sunday and you can book both at the same time pay 1 x £3 booking fee and they will post both out to you? you will still have 10 days or so (once they have arrived) to pass the donny one on?

I think you just like to make a fuss and criticise the club! IMO of course.

First they wouldn't post them, then they would but sperately...If I moaned as much as you I wouldn't bother going and save all those £3 fees!

You're not very bright are you Fred, so let me explain it to you nice and slowly.

They will post out the donny ticket but they won't post out the pompey ticket however if you want the donny ticket posting out it will be classed as two separate orders costing two booking fee's. 2 times 3 pounds equals 6 pounds.

Have you got it now?

Dune,

Will I be able to get 3 tickets for Pompey, 4 tickets for Donny, get half posted and the other half collected by a private courier company who will tract the delivery process using GPS? Can you let me know if I have to pay two booking fees for this and if so will I be able to write off any of it in my annual self-assessment? NB two tickets for each match will be given to employees who show commitment above and beyond their job spec...... is this a gift in kind?

I've no sympathy for you as you clearly want to pick and choose your games. Why wouldn't you "want" to go to the Donny game, could understand if you couldn't go. But how can you complain about the treatment you're getting, when you dont want to watch the side because its not a "big" game.

I want to get two this Sunday. My nephew has two ST's (I don't have ST) and has offered me the use to get tickets before General Sale. Do I need the ST's at the TO or will his ST numbers be enough?

ps, my grandson and I attend every home game.

Oh dear. Looks like I have this all wrong (again). Think I have missed the window for ST holders to get extra tickets and it is General Sale this Sunday. Dohhhhhhhh

I make no apology for picking and choosing which games I go to. It's not just the cost of the ticket, it's the travel costs and general costs as well.

Does anyone have any idea how many tickets have been sold in total/how many there are left? Also, I know that ST holders were only allowed to buy 1 extra ticket, is this the case when it goes on general sale on Sunday as well (1 per membership number)?
