Hardly going to say anything else are they?..undermines the whole scheme a bit if they say "oh yes sir once donny's out the way we will sell the tickets on their own" Perhaps they are right but it would IMO be madness to have say 5000 tickets unsold on March the 25th and then not sell them?- unless they then link them to the Reading game?

Can anyone tell me what the "other" number is for the ticket office, ie not the 0800 one?

I seem to remember it's a number that starts "01"?

I'm going to queue up at the stadium tomorrow, but if it's hectic I intend to try booking tickets by phone whilst in the queue!

Itchen Corner on sale at the window for Pompey - its not open for Donny so what they're doing is selling Itchen corner for Pompey and then you can have a ticket elsewhere for the Donny game.

Only 3 or 4 deep queueing at 11am so worth popping down if you're local

Got my ticket. I'd advise people to be quick, doesn't sound like there are going to be very many left for too long.

Does anyone know the alternative number to phone the TO direct please? I've been on hold for 22 mins and that music is drivin me mad

01271 335708 - good luck!

i imagine someone else must of thought of this, apology's if posted elsewhere, but if this game doesn't go ahead which seems more than likely, I'm assuming ticket holders will get refunded, will there be a refund to season ticket holders as well?

There will be a refund on tickets bought, i asked when I got my extra one today. Not sure about refund on ST though and to be honest I would not care.

Booked! bring it on. Can't wait to see us send the fishies down

How did you manage to book a skates ticket today then ? I phoned up and was told it was only available for existing ST holders buying an extra ticket if also purchasing for Doncaster as well.

Booking fee question.

I bought 2 tickets for both Donny and Skates using two season ticket numbers.

I forgot to ask the booking fee when purchasing. Is it a fee of £3 for the lot, £3 for each match (i.e.£6) or £3 for each ticket (i.e. £12)?

Per transaction. I booked my Barnsley and Coventry tickets in the week and was only charged £3.

Q: Are You openly saying that you would not care about fans that have commited to supporting our club well in advance of the season by buying a season ticket ? - or that Tw*ts like you should buy tickets when you feel like it & then expect to get refunds

if it all goes tits?

I thought he was making more of a comment about how he'd be so ecstatic at Pompey going under that he wouldn't be fussed about refunds etc.

I've got my ticket through a friend of mine, she's a season ticket holder.

I'm in block 30, would prefer something in the 40s. If I call the ticket office and tell them it's my ticket, bought through my friend, will they be able to move me, do we think?

The ticket office said yes, customer services said no. So I'm stuck where I am. If anyone wants to do a trade, Block 30 for something in the Northam, do let me know.

Warning to ST holders.

For info the OP is incorrect as season ticket holder sales closed at 5pm last night (Monday 5th) and reopens again on Sunday 10th.

I wasted time dropping in at the TO this morning.

So they gave two days for season ticket holders to buy extra?

That doesn't make sense. What were you trying to buy and why weren't you allowed to buy them?

So they arent on sale at all now til Sunday? Strange. Glad my mates got theirs early doors. Presumably its still ok to collect them from the TO after the game tonight...?

Yeah, or before 6.45pm tonight, I was told this yesterday on the phone when trying to swap my Block 40 tickets for the Cheats game which I had ordered on Sunday for tickets in blocks 1-3, which they wouldn't let me do; even though the woman on Sunday on the phone line cocked up by telling me that blocks 1-3 weren't on sale for the Cheats game, when she should have said for Doncaster.

As I discovered on my visit this morning, they ceased to be on sale to anyone from 5pm yesterday (Monday) until next Sunday 11th March

So they've gone off sale for a week?

Yep. L has just gone down there to get my ticket for tonight and bumped into someone who wanted to buy skates (having had a mate pass on a message they were on sale), the way the chap at the ticket office explained it the communication is confusing, it was a couple of days for season ticket holders to buy extra when also buying an extra for Doncaster, that was for sunday / Monday. Now nothing until next week!

Naturally the club is taking the opportunity to maximise revenue from the ticket tax.

After all, most season ticket holders are more than likely to be at the ground later today plus again on Saturday.

If they could buy their extra tickets then, think how many £3 taxes would be lost as comkpared to making them wait till Sunday.

But if anyone has a logical explanation to explain the nonsense I would like to see it.

They do it with all away tickets - wait until there are as few home games as possible (usually none) left before the away game in question, leaving out of town fans no choice but to pay the £3. It's not the £3 in itself that's the problem, its the pettiness of the club. If that's what they're doing for the Skates game, then what a p*sstake.

Which idiot decided to take them off sale while we have two home games?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there are still Pompey tickets left after the Doncaster game has finished.

it is for one reason only, maximise the revenue from the ticket tax, they have been using such tactics for away ticket sales for quite a while now, ensuring fans who don't live near St Mary's call up and wack a tasty £3 profit on top of the ticket sale
