I thought he retired ages ago! Wasn't he at Bournemouth recently? Still involved with our youth coaching set-up as far as I know too.

Yes he announced it on "Late Kick Off" last night.

In the few games he played for us I always thought he was a very committed player and if he hadn't been injured could have become an important player.

I thought he was retired already.. never saw him coming back. Shame really as he was decent

Shame his career ended with such a damp squib. Without the injury he would have been a good player for our time in league 1 would have been nice for him to have retired helping us get promotion - shame it wasn't to be.

 

Sure he'll end up coaching some where though.

Good player, decent career, and a top, top bloke. Live in Reading, and he's very highly regarded here by all.

From what he was saying last night, I got the impression that he had already lined up a coaching job. Don't know where though, probably Reading.
