Last night I dreamed that Saints were in the World Club Cup, I was in Australia and it was in Italy, we beat Man Utd in the semi but lost to Liverpool in the final, bizarre (how did 3 English teams get in?)

I have had dreams in the past where I played for Saints, but I could never physically score a goal. Just like in dreams if you get into a fight, why can you never actually hurt the other person ? Frustrating as hell when you wake up !

True story

I was fast asleep lying on my left hand side with my right leg over the top of the duvet.

In my dream Beattie was tearing down the left flank and I started my run from the centre circle. He hovered a beautiful cross in toward the six yard box, I outpaced Brett Ormerod and threw my leg out at the ball as hard as I could.

The cat who was asleep at my feet on top of the duvet sailed a clean 6 ft across the room and thumped into the wardrobe

My wife didn't speak to me for a week

Don't even know if I scored as waws awoken by the noise

Last one I had was at SMS. At first I was in the Northam for a pompey game. Everyone was late arriving and the pompey fans were massively outsinging me. Then suddenly I was playing. Jason Dodd broke the net with a shot.

This was one of my very rare 'normal' dreams

Had an even stranger one where I was playing in the 1976 FA Cup final as a central defender for Saints, giving the ball away and gifting United the opener.

We promptly lost 2-0.

I think that would count as a nightmare rather than a dream.

Does dreaming about Pinder count btw?

I was playing for saints against a team in orange shirts. Back in the real world we subsequently got drawn against blackpool in the cup, remembering my dream I put a correct score bet which I collected on.

No, but I frequently dream about trying to tee off from a very awkward place where I cannot quite get the ball to stay on the tee OR there is no room to swing the club properly.....and there are always lots of people watching impatiently. Does that count?

I often day-dream that I am playing for Saints, usually when trying to get to sleep or listening to music etc. Occasionally think I've predicted a score in a dream but rarely works out!

I had a dream I played for saints on the left wing with gordan Watson behind me calling me "simioni" and we won 7-1 oh hold on that wasn't a dream it really happend!

I did once dream about playing for Saints - I was getting ready for the match in the changing room, and got as far the tunnel to go out onto the pitch... and then woke up.

Never got to kick a ball in anger for Saints, even in my dream

Not playing for, but I did dream last night that the Stadium was being bulldozed and we would be groundsharing at 'Southampton Rugby Club' while the new ground was put up at the existing site.

Dreams, make no sense.

Strangely dreamt last night we were playing Brighton in a public park with just one big stand and I was watching the game from behind the window of a shop sitting next to Billy Sharp.

Brighton, public park, sitting next to another bloke..... dont think thats a football related dream mate!
