I always like to look at the reciprocal thread on the oppos fans forum. This post did make me laugh (sorry if posted already):

I'm looking forward to this one and can say that we Should Win this one which I think we will 3-1 even with Kucszak-(?!) in goal with goals from Lambert, Chaplow n Lee/Sharp n Eustace for Watford But we'l see!

Where will most fans be heading for a Pre-Match drink then as I'm thinking of having one before with my Mate who I'm going

with!?!

Also travel wise were getting the Train to Waterloo, Tube to Euston and on to Watford n then we may hang around afterwards

for pictures/signings with the players depending on how long iit takes! :p

See you there!

It's only the town Eastleigh could have been.

First goal wins IMO. I have nothing but bad memories of games with Watford. Can we have a good one tomorrow please?

I went to vicarage rd once also

we lost too....3-2, louise boa-morte scored though.....good times

I think people would be a lot more positive and confident about this one if the other teams around us hadn't have won in midweek. It's about our own form and performances and we were great against Derby.

2-0 Saints, Lambert to get back on the score sheet.

I think Jaidi has travelled to the last couple of away games but not been in matchday squad.

Correct. Also, at West Ham away, De Ridder, Chaplow, Reeves, Harding and A N Other were on the pitch in kit warming up although none were in the squad.

Sorry to say this has banana skin written all over it. The players will consider this an easy game when Watford are more than capable of playing a tight game and nicking a win. 1-2 Watford. This may well be the game that sees us start a steady slip down into the play-off places. ):

Agree with your sentiment, although I would say it will be the start of a slide down to mid table.

Crap memories of bad performances there in the past. Hope for a lot different tomorrow.

Indeed. Remember going there on Boxing day (2005???) and we had our arses handed to us on a plate that day. Think it was Burley's first game in charge but can't be certain. Watford tore us a new one anyway - it was thoroughly depressing.

Looking at the BBC build-up, apparently we have only ever won once at Vicarage Road - in 1988. Shocking!

On a more positive note, they got dicked 4-0 away at Palace last week and we have only conceded one goal in our last four games.

If we keep the same midfield and play sharp for 45 and lee for 45 i'll say we'll win it was good tactics for once by NA last weekend and im sure it would work today since Lee is unknown. Would like to see De Ridder on the bench instead of DC, SDR can play midfield or upfront and DC is only a striker and it's best to have more options, plus Lee is a better option upfront than DC, his pace is very handy.

West Ham & Palace kick off in 20 mins. Palace have a few injuries...think they are in for a hiding - I'm going for 3-1 to Ten-Man West Ham.

Hoping the demon of the 5-2 loss gets exorcised today! Christ I've seen some bad away performances but that one is righ up there with the worst.

Good luck today to the travelling fans - just act and behave like normal human beings! Think Palace will do the business back on top at 5pm!

Can't help feeling Palace have blown their chance by failing to score. West Ham will get some sort of goal of attrition at some point and can only really get better in the second half.

I love watching Zaha - hardly ever actually delivers anything but he's brilliant to watch. If he matures well he will be a superb player.

Hammers booed off at ht. They look really poor today, Palace far the better side with better chances.

not surprising looking at the shots and foul stats on the BBC site. The 4-1 win at Blackpool might have knackered the Hammers a bit

but I expect they'll win anyway.

@jordansibley: Saints Vs Watford. Davis. Butterfield, Fonte©, Hooiveld, Fox. Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Cork, Lallana. Lee, Lambert #saintsfc

Great to see Lee start! Really pleased for him. Looks a strong line-up and no Harding, which is pleasing.
