Saint in Paradise Posted 19 February, 2012 Share Posted 19 February, 2012  Dereck Chisora threatened to shoot David Haye after the two were involved in a brawl at the news conference following Chisora's WBC heavyweight title loss to Vitali Klitschko. Haye's manager, Adam Booth, also suffered cuts to his face in the melee. Chisora accused Haye of "glassing him", before saying at least four times that he would shoot the former WBA heavyweight champion. He then added: "If David don't fight me, I am going to physically burn him." Haye had been working for a television station and attended the news conference afterwards. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/17088021

LVSaint Posted 19 February, 2012 Share Posted 19 February, 2012 Cringeworthy. Both Klitschkos must be ****ing themselves laughing at this pair of losers.
Mao Cap Posted 19 February, 2012 Share Posted 19 February, 2012 Meh, usual goon show that you expect in the heavyweight division. 4:09, when the camera pans over to Vitali Klitschko trying not to laugh his arse off, is priceless! Watched some proper boxing (in the shape of the Kid Galahad-Jason Booth fight) instead.
Mao Cap Posted 19 February, 2012 Share Posted 19 February, 2012 What I meant was, "it's a priceless moment at 4:09, when the camera pans over Vitali Klitschko trying not to laugh". Wouldn't believe that I write for a living, would you? :-/
s0108787 Posted 19 February, 2012 Share Posted 19 February, 2012 what was very amusing was that Haye's trainer Adam Booth was asking who glassed him... ...he might want to review the footage where you can see david haye swing a camera tripod in his face. In fairness to Chisora, Haye threw the first punches, bottles Chisora and them proceeds to throw punches at his team before brandishing the tripod and catching his own trainer. Boxers are mainly thugs, but it kinda goes with the territory.
