I've been smoking E-Lites recently which are the smokeless electronic cigarettes that you can smoke in pubs and other public places. Does anyone know what the clubs stance is on smoking these in the ground? I'm assuming there's no problem with it?

It is a bit! If the government have approved them for use in pubs and such like, surely it should be OK to use them in the concourse. Test have proved they completely harmless to those smoking them so what's the problem?

I've emailed the club so I'll see their response. Surely if anything they should encourage it to stop people having a sneaky one in the loo's?

I'm sure you'll be fine. If you're concerned just explain to a steward what it is before you start 'smoking' it.

I was told not to use it by a steward at Cardiff game. I tried to explain to a steward that it's harmless though he told me that it could provoke other fans to smoke real cigarettes that's why it's prohibited.

Can understand this point of view. Until they are more well known at least.

Been caught out by Orange/Red tipped ones so many times at work.

Someone was smoking the wacky-backy in the Kingsland, fairly certain of it. Not the first time I've smelt it there either. Be careful whoever you are, because I'm sure it hasn't gone unnoticed and I'm just as sure that the stewards are aware too.

Guy who sits in front of me does this in his seat at HT. People do give him funny looks but then they seem to realise what it is. I only realised when the smoke blew in my face and it didn't smell.

I can see the staff being funny about it tbh, but there's no reason IMO.
