Having a chat with a few friends at work (all saints fans) about the idea of signing Freddie Ljungberg on a free transfer. Just seen he has left Japan and is looking for a return to England. They seem to think he still a good player who can be dangerous in this league and could notch a few goals here and there. Howerver, I seem to diagree with them, the guy is past it now, he never going to return to the Premier League and yes, the Championship will be his destination but he wouldnt fit in plus he wages will be sky high I would of thought. West Ham will proberly want him back tbh.

Sadly, He is really "on his last legs", (and the ones he has have been operated on several times).

Any club that signs him will be buying his reputation rather than the ace player he was at Arsenal (forget his West Ham days).

I'd be surprsied if he stayed fit for half-a-season now. Pity!... at his best he was top class - especially for Sweden.

Ljungberg is old, injured and a long way past his best. Really don't see why HCDAJFU, especially when we have Holmes, Falque and De Ridder who can't even get on the bench at the mo. Weird suggestion.

Don't see how his sexuality is in any way relevant. A bit like saying, 'he likes green veg apparently'
