There is loads to do there but depends what you're into, if the mrs likes Art go to Van Gogh and Rembrant museums, history go to Anne Frank house and the resistance museum, i went there in December and thought it was interesting, if your mrs is up for a laugh go to one of the "live sex shows" which are more comedy than seedy, look around the red light, go to the Ajax club shop by Rembrant square, upstairs is the Ajax experience / Museum, all the trophies and the history of the club well worth a look, also interaction where you can test your football skills, how hard your shot is. I did a boat trip on the canal one of those buses that turns into a boat not bad but bit of a rip off.

Nice one - is the Ajax stadium near the city centre?

banana bar....mental

Went here for my stag. My mate had to eat a banana sticking out of a pole dancers gash! I pulled out a long ribbon out of same gash, but it was like magic, I was pulling it out for about 10 minutes. There was a live sex show right in front of us, and we had to go window shopping for a mate who went off with a lady of the night while we waited round the corner in a pub, while he emptied his sack......top night.

Get a River Taxi/Bus from the canal near to Centraal Station (railway station & pretty much the centre of the city) and get off at the Heineken museum (good fun) and then stroll back to the town hall/centraal station area via the various cafes and bars. Don't go in any bars with the name bulldog in the title. Eat at one of the Argentinian steak houses as its the best steak i've tasted outside of South America, and finally have a walk around the red light district, it's a bit of an eye opener!
