Many happy returns to the big man.

He has been a talisman for us and has been worth every penny of the 1m we spent on him.

So far he's shown all those clubs who doubted his ability at a higher level that they were 100% wrong - and I hope he continues to prove them wrong.

Happy birthday Rickie.

Has to be one of our best signings ever for the impact he has made plus he has improved since being here.

Hasn't got pace to lose so hopefully 3 more good years!

Indeed, I'm hoping for a few more than three years though! He has a great injury record and doesn't seem to pick up niggles and knocks easily which is a great sign for his longevity, like you said his game doesn't rely on pace and with a younger quicker player alongside him I could see him plaing into his late thirties.

amazing player

from a so called fat lad he has transformed his game in a brilliant way...from being a typical target man...his skill and technique are excellent.

a real hero for the kids too.........I would put him up there as a saints legend if we go up

Happy Birthday Rickie

Im ashamed to admit that ive got a bit of bromance for him! Last Saints player that earned that much respect from me was Le Tissier!

Heres to some more great years at Saints and getting your chance to play in the premiership, with us.

Top scorer twice in a row (and soon a third time), a goal in the JPT final, three hat-tricks, a PFA fans player of the year award and two goals against the Skates.... What a hero. Happy Birthday Rickie!
