Hudds fans already screaming for Warnock on their boards I see..........

Apparently sacked for getting to many draws....Sad fact for hudders is since Lee Clark came in there have been a lot of Big clubs in league one making his job of getting Huddersfield up to the champ pretty hard... with the likes of Leeds, Norwich, Saints, both Sheffield clubs and Charlton all looking for the auto spot the last few seasons.

What surprises me most is not that they got rid of a manager that hardly has any losses to his name, but that the Huddersfield fans are actually happy about it! Madness - granted they're not top, again, but that is a fricking strong league this year. They won't go up again, and it's because they think the grass is greener elsewhere. Ok, maybe something went on behind the scenes, but this will unsettle them for the run in. Crazy.

Well they say nothing surprises you in football & this is one of those moments. 178 games in charge, 49% win ratio & only lost 40-games in 3-years. Yes he has been backed & they wanted automatic. Nothing in this game is given, Div-1 is an extremely hard league again this year. So its an incredible decision today & one I find hard to find any rational reason for. but when has football ever been rational!

Agree with this, it is a tough league, but fear they will slide a little now.

lets be honest...great as he has done, they are not going up under him....they have spent big and have some cracking players......

they have also been unlucky with having the likes of saints, brighton, norwich, leeds, charlton and the sheffield clubs in their league in the last 3 years or so

I think it was the 50 players in three years that he brought in that did it for him. As well as the 17 points from the last 11 games.

I think we've managed 14 points from the last 11 games. ADKINS OUT!!!!

I reckon they jumped the gun, thinking that Warnock would take the job and the reported million pound salary being offered.

Hard to see who would be a better fit for them than Clarke.

Well, IMHO, spending the money they have, having a playerbscoring the amount Rohdes is, and going a mill games unbeaten but STILL not nailing down an automatic spot is quite a failure in my eyes.

I think their unbeaten run is a bit of a non-event really, as you'd expect to actually achieve something if you go that long unbeaten.

In the end they just drew too many games and achieved zilch.

I still think it's a little questionable why he went because I don't think he did a bad job, I guess their chairman looked at Charlton and wondered why they're running away with it and Hudders are looking like a playoff team again.

Grayson is a good appointment though. They should be chuffed with that.

I think the more you look at it, the worse the job Clark was doing. The unbeaten run is very good but would I rather have more wins under my belt and be in the top two all season? Of course.

They've spent a hell of a lot of money as well, I'm guessing it's not a bottomless pit of money...
