View From The Top Posted 16 February, 2012 Share Posted 16 February, 2012 Exactly, Derby away was a big game at the time with them near the top, crowd of 33,010 turned up for it, we won't get close to that. Helped by a groupon deal and over 5000 tickets given to schools and local junior teams as we, nor Derby, were expected to be up there. It's the game my nipper was mascot at. Bucks Saint Posted 16 February, 2012 Share Posted 16 February, 2012 What's the point of this thread? Do people when they start threads like this really think that 7,000 who weren't going to originally attend are going to read this and think, 'hang on a second, he's bloody right, let's go'.. Dude, not sure how to break it to you but 7000 people do not use SWF, sorry
CFSFC Posted 16 February, 2012 Share Posted 16 February, 2012 There are other factors to consider as well - for example, some fans wil not be able to afford two homes games on consecutive Saturday's. I think 26/27k would be a excellent attendance. Well your wrong.

We've sold out twice and average less than teams we shouldn't be based where we are in the league all this two games in a week nonsense doesnt add up if it was united and arsenal we'd sell. People just prioritise it less.
SFC Forever Posted 16 February, 2012 Share Posted 16 February, 2012 Yes, that's the reality of it. A number of the sides 3rd to 7th have a game in hand and if they win them, we are 2nd only on goal difference. We can't start puffing our chests out just yet. Let's get clear water ahead before we start looking at the Promised Land. Apart from the obvious error which has already been picked up on. Tues night sees some very interesting games. Barnsley - Brum Millwall - Middlesbrough Blackpool - Hammers And that is after Ipswich - Cardiff on Saturday. I confidently predict us winning on Saturday will enable us to gain on some of those mentioned. Weds sees Hull - Brighton which is another game that could help us. SFC Forever Posted 16 February, 2012 Share Posted 16 February, 2012 (edited) Biggest game of that lot could see Blackpool beating Fat Sam's lot Cardiff could struggle as well with their big day almost here. If Boro' and Brighton lose I can't see them staying close enough to worry us. Edited 16 February, 2012 by SFC Forever

Good point well made, I especially agree with "color:rgb(0, 0, 0);". Nobody's ever enlightened me like that before. Gutted I can't make it this saturday, i've got work from 4 til 10, so will have to listen to the first half on the radio and keep nipping out to get updates on my phone.. Huffton Posted 16 February, 2012 Share Posted 16 February, 2012 This sat we need a full house to support the lads so get down to st marys, no excuses. I have a wife, kids, mortgage and I've recently been made redundant so I'm struggling to feed my children, let alone afford a football ticket, can that be an excuse? (actually thats all ****** as i have a job and a season ticket, but you get my point...)
