chocco boxo Posted 11 February, 2012 Share Posted 11 February, 2012 Lets be honest, when we go there tuesday we have nothing to be scared of! They are worst than us at slipping up when they should win, their fans like to give it the big one! But they are seriously fickle and are not happy with Big sam! They are run by Brummie rejects, their mouthpiece is Karen Brady.......say no more, in fact she slagged us ( the fans ) off after we lost at home to Leicester! Lets all go there as one you Saints! Remember James Beattie 90th minute........West Ham, The Firm, Clyde Best, John Lyall, your boys are going to take a hell of a beating!

Toomer Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 Play like we did for most of the game yesterday and I think we can go there and get a result.

Secret Site Agent Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 What did she say? That we wouldn't form a train to satisfy her inner desires, Like Lord Beardy does.
saints_is_the_south Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 West Ham have definitely shown they are beatable at home, all the games I've seen of them on TV I don't think they've been particularly impressive. Forest dominated them the other week and could have been 3 or 4 nil up at HT with the chances WHU gifted them. If Forest who are gash can go there and give them a game then I'm pretty sure we can, with the added advantage that if we create chances we should be more clinical. Only difference I can see is that their fans would have expected an easy win V Forest, so would have been a sh*t atmosphere and they'd have got on their backs from the first misplaced pass. They'll be much more up for it on Tuesday. We shouldn't underestimate them based on their previous results.
Badger Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 The thing Saints have to fear most in any game, is themselves .... not performing as they can. Play to our potential and we'll be fine. But another 'Bartday' in goal, defenders, midfielders going missing, Guly not fancying it, or forwards trying to over pass and wallk the ball in to the goal and we'll struggle whether its against Doncaster or West Ham. thegaffer Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 I would of been happier if they had played yesterday as their results on a Tuesday after playing a Saturday game have not been great.

Exactly this. With our team/squad we should not be scared of anyone - especially if we play like we know we can.
Dr Who? Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 We can beat this lot, as they are not that good, and on their own patch, they are really not all that. West Ham have a huge amount of pressure from the home crowd as they expect nothing more than going back up, and as champions. We are going to win this 2-
Guan 2.0 Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 West Ham nothing to be scared of! As long as we don't lower ourselves and forget all of our standards, things should be dandy and we will win handsomely.
ThreeSixty Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 West Ham are only scary if you're a pigeon that happens to be flying above the ground at the time Hooooooooooooof.

Golden Balls Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 The crowd get right on their back if they're not winning. Also, their fans aren't too happy with the hoof ball tactics so we need to make sure we highlight it every time "hooooooooooooooooooof"
WATERSIDEIFASAINT Posted 12 February, 2012 Share Posted 12 February, 2012 Much more pressure on West Ham for this game. They have not played a top 12 team twice yet this season so have got every top team to play again. We have played 5 of the top half teams twice so have less difficult games than West ham after this one although there is no such thing as an easy game in this league. I definately prefer our fixture list though

Hockey_saint Posted 10 March, 2012 Share Posted 10 March, 2012 The one thing I don't understand about the West Ham fans is their terrible memories! I found this snippet from Knees Up Mother Brown concerning ours and Reading's challenege to their "god-given" right to the championship: "If he get's us up this year he deserves another couple of seasons. The main problem with us being in this league is that everyone sees us a massive scalp and raises their game. Reading and Southampton (for the first 10 games before they emerged as genuine contenders) don't have to face up to that problem plus the extra pressures." I take it they don't remember the begininng of the season? our unbeaten run that took us to second and then the top within the first few games? we've been here pretty much all season....seriously dellusional.
