bpsaint Posted 11 February, 2012 Share Posted 11 February, 2012 (edited) Should have asked him why he didn't rate Lallana before, hence him considering his future at the club. Edited 11 February, 2012 by bpsaint

Alain Perrin Posted 11 February, 2012 Share Posted 11 February, 2012 Should have asked him why he didn't rate Lallana before, hence him considering his future at the club. Eh? According to Wikipedia, Lallana played 40 times the season Wotte was in charge. As far as I remember AL was also not rated by many on here (myself included) because, when deployed on the wing he consistently drifted in and left us exposed. No doubts that AL has developed into a great player but he wasn't the article he is now back then.

Burley played him on the left in a 1 - 1 draw with Preston, Kelvin's clanger gave North End a point. Lallana subbed at half time. Rasiak scored I think. End of summer 2006? Not that I remember it all that well or anything.
Tartarus112 Posted 11 February, 2012 Share Posted 11 February, 2012 We had the chance to sign Christian Eriksson? My face exactly. I guess it was between him and Morgan. Still. That has to be up there with missing out on Drogba and Adebayor.

I remember it well, only competitive Saints game my missus has ever been to. The game above was 3 days later.
