That they want to lend me?

I will sign a agreement and pay it back weekly at £40 a week for 260 weeks. 5 years.

Better interest than the banks. Will look to pay it back quicker if possible?

Thanks.

I do, but you'll have to be the one explaining to the future Mrs SNSUN that she's not getting a wedding in June. Oh, and trust me, it'll cost you more than £5k to have your nuts reattached.

Banks are just not lending. 5 or even 7k is not that much money really in the scheme of things, but we have tried everything. Madness, as our income is pretty good. That will be the wife on maternity leave that does it!

I fully understand, I did the same in 2010. Not have my nuts reattached but got married, they do become a little wrapped up in it all, and go a bit nutty!

If there's spare 5ks flying about can some of it be donated to my marathon?! Ta.

I'll be there cheering you on - I go every year if I can - and my cheering is worth more than money. :-D

I'd want my Monet back PLUS 20% of your company. I assume it will not be a personal loan for a trip to Disneyland ?

I am afraid 20% of f all is, f all. But you would get you money back and some!

If you have a mortgage, there are lenders who will take into account your wife's income - dependent on when she plans to return to work. PM if you would like more info.

does a teacher on maternity leave not get full pay then??

Extra family allowances as well.

Ta. I'll try to wear something saints related on the day.

(PS. Go on, give us a quid).

Go on then!

My friend's fella ran it last year and at the end, in Horseguards parade, he looked shattered and could barely move. He was still adamant he was coming down the pub for a few though! What surprised me, as a spectator, was the number of Saints shirts in the watching crowd. (Besides mine.) If I CAN make it this year, I'll be wearing the sash, and usually stand around the Canary Wharf bit.

No they do not get full pay for the 9 months off. It drops as low as just the smp 240 for the month. We get an extra 45 a moth for the little one.

You're in the wrong place then, my wife was teaching Lycée when the kids were born, full pay plus about 300 £ a month extra

"supplement familiale" until they were 3 and then only about 200£ extra after that. No wonder France is broke,Mitterand got confused between the workplace and the Club Med.Mind you she only took about 4 months off each time.

Told me to clear off!

No offence Dr Who but if I offered somebody £5000 and then they said oops my mistake it was £7000 I might do the same. I am sure that it was a genuine mistake but it did not great to a potential lender.

Wait on, is this a serious thread then? Thought it was just a wind-up

You should have a word with Jillsaint, she can raise that much just by selling a couple of cats. I've heard she's pretty laid back about receiving full payment too.

I don't know how to take this!

No offence taken, I was a little bit drunk at the time, and pulling my hair out. I understand where you are coming from, big balls up. As. Credit manager myself I would have second thoughts! Lol

Going to write to private eye and just beg!

I think she's learned a harsh lesson after being 'pompeyed' by one of our own.
