Peterbrough vs West Ham

Expect they'll try to fit that in next Saturday then because March and April are pretty loaded for fixtures anyway.

Can only be an advantage for West Ham having no game today for Tuesday's game.

You say that. But if we were to get a win today, then we'd go into the Tuesday game full of confidence on the back of a win and might catch them cold. As we well know they haven't exactly been playing well recently just grinding out the results whereas we've been playing ok and been getting caught out by poor ref performances, bad pitches and freak FA cup results etc.

Yes noticed that, it's just West Ham that don't have a game, guess their oppo is still in the cup then.

Ah well there are a few free Tuesdays in March.

So, West Ham will end up having two games in hand over us in just over a week's time....

Here's hoping we've built a bit of a gap in that time otherwise they will be sitting very pretty (i.e. top, or thereabouts, with 2 games in hand)

This COULD turn into a big psychological advantage for them....(likewise for us if we win our next three games!)

Personally I don't think we massively benefited from our games in hand last year. So much was made of them ''oh we can go second if we win our games in hand'' - but didn't we actually loose 2 of them, against Rochdale and Wallsall? I believe the only one we won was against Plymouth.

At the end of day I prefer the games to be played when they are supposed to be played.....I think it hinders teams when you have a backlog of games in hand.

Also add to this, that Nolan has only served 1 of his 3 game ban so far his second will be against us and with them not playing next Saturday means he misses the match away to Blackpool which could be a bonus for us

He hasnt missed a game yet as his red card was last Saturday and they didnt play midweek.
